Need some help with live streaming

I tried to stream from PS4 to youtube yesterday. It worked fine, but
every online fighting game I have played started to lag a lot during the stream - they were unplayable.
Once I stopped streaming the online netcode was fine again and there was no lag anymore.
Is there any solution on how to fix the online netcode during a PS4 to youtube stream / broadcast?

Do online games lag more in general while streaming them?

hmm i would say maybe you need to lower the quality of your stream? are you doing it in 60fps or 720? sounds like it might be a connection/upload speed issue etc.

I selected 720p 60fps on the PS4 while streaming.
My Internet speed I got here in Germany is actually pretty fast, but it doesn't seem enough for streaming.

Uh dude, when you stream you're using your internet connection to broadcast that data. Therefore if you go to play an online game while you're streaming you're going to have less of your connection to work with and it's going to be laggier. Basic internet stuff lol. The netcode isn't changing, it's your connection that's getting worse because you're using a portion of it to stream.

maybe try just reg 720p and see how it goes from there, if no to little improvement you might have to lower it a bit more again etc
