Local scene ridiculously bad, any Colorado players?

Poopbutt.
You Colorado guys gotta get something started. Nebraska and Western MO are fucking ghost towns for this game.

Believe me, I've tried helping my friends but they just gave up. The only one who really tries hard to learn is my 8 year old daughter who plays a pretty mean mournful Kitana and can beat all my friends! My fiancee can't beat my daughter yet but I taught her the kun jin cheese game. Between us three, my friends stand no chance unfortunately :( If a local scene pops up in Denver believe me I will head over, I've traveled for gaming before.

gotta stay sharp!
how would we go about getting a venue started up for fighting games?
Probably the easiest way is go to a internet cafe and just bring a set up. Thats what we usually do. Fun fact theres a decent scene in co for about every fighting game that isnt nrs. Some bigger arcades have a lan area where you can bring setups like gameworks

I found a scene called the extra fresh league and they mostly do smash and SF but when IJ2 drops there will be some tournaments..we mostly meet at akihabara arcade at gameworks in denver
