ISSUES:

D1 Background bounce doesn't combo punish most of the time, not sure if it ever did, but shouldn't it?

STRING PROBLEMS:
Currently can't cancel F23 on block to make safe on a confirm, like Superman's F23.
111 has range problems and will whiff even as a punish at certain ranges.
13 Float has no real uses as a combo starter in his normal stance, only in the corner.
33 Special cancel has a mad gap in it, it would be perfect as a d1 reply if the gap wasn't so big.

TRAIT:
Currently there is no safe way to get into trait from any strings as the start up is suppppperrr slow.
You can activate trait after MB fire ball from full screen, pretty safely.


Apart from that, the character is not that bad, and I don't think he has any pick up and play ability as of yet, he will require a practice mode to fully figure out as all his stuff isn't so given just yet.

yea there some funky spacing issues with the 111 alright, already has a gap so hope they make 2nd hit of the string big larger to lessen the oddities currently there

What are your best options against his fireballs? So far with Atrocitus from full screen it only seemed like I had time to jump the next one after letting one pass overhead. If you can get a bloodnado trade between them the timing seems tight and I'm not sure it's worth it anyway? No time to dash/move forward between them either it seemed.

PS in case this comes across the wrong way, im not complaining or saying I have no options or calling for a low gunshots response here; literally just asking what people have found are the best ways to deal with them so far. I had enough success forward jumping them but at the same time It felt like the scrubbiest possible way to deal with fireballs so I'm hoping there are better ways.

Ahhhh with trait out. That's why.

Seems like that's a tough thing to get going cause you can't go from zoning to pressure seemlessly. You have to stop and pull out your trait.
To finish a juggle, you could do F2-trait or B1-trait... F2 is a HKD and B1 is a re-stand... I think that B1 is going to be super useful for him.

F2 seems more reliable in most instances. I love beetle, but the raaaaange, or lackthereof. stubby is as stubby does

I think the main caveat with 111 is just those situations where the fist hit hits, and then the second hit whiffs anyway. Not a complete deal-breaker, but it'd be nice if all 3 hits would land if the first landed (especially coming off of a float -> jumpin, where the spacing is more fluid).

A lot of these other 'issues' are pretty workable. He's likely not intended to play the same in both modes. Obsess about keep-away/zoning and meter building when trait's not out (and being a bee). Then you have more conversion options after you pop claws.

Do we have options for people trying to blow up the gap in 111? 11~blast or something that cancels fast enough to break a MB b3/f3?

This is as good as I get with him so far.

Not entirely sure about his B&B's as I only really know 111, no conversions. Still can't really jail my strings from floats and drops properly.

Also, a MAJOR issue, is that his D1 doesn't guarantee him anything...
