The worst part is...most of the guys who got codes in wave 1 and 2 will probably find a way to get the game early also, as NRS games grossly start selling before release day to people who have those connections.

Yea this is really turning me off from the competitive scene for this game. At first I thought you know one week is not that bad but now its 3 and theres already been a patch for the fucking beta! I spent 120 days on MKX and I can't even get a beta code and then random people who barely know what fighting games are get like 3 codes.
I was trying to insinuate that I give two shits about tournaments and want to enter. Without my console being present I see almost no reason to buy it as Xbox seems largely forgotten by the FGC or TO's at least. We may have different reasons for playing the same game, but that doesn't mean you should belittle me for my opinion simply because it is different.

You claimed "should x box owners even bother getting the game? ", which comes off as really condescending. Maybe I misunderstood, but it was an honest misunderstanding obviously. Of course XBox owners should buy the game no matter the circumstances. If you have an XBox One and enjoy NRS games, then hell yes you should bother buying the game.
Half my friends list was already playing the beta the first week. Damn, I entered my info day one too. It has me wondering if I signed up using the wrong email?
