Gotta admit, not getting a code, while very disappointing for anyone planning to take this game seriously or just very excited to play it, is not as frustrating as the lack of information.
It's not like it's too late to start giving out information or something. I understand maybe they can't 100% plan the date of the next wave, but maybe they can give numbers when they're going out? How many people are getting it? The reasonable delay before I stop harassing my F5 button?
The problem is that right now I don't feel like they're even trying to make it "look good". Obviously I'm going to buy it May 16th so my complaints are "useless" in a sense, but maybe, just maybe, they could try to make the wait until then feel "normal". Right now with the very few responses we're getting they're making it look like they have absolutely NO control over the beta distribution and they're just handing out apologies. That's not the way to do it if this is going to last for a few weeks. Just tell us clearly: "today around 3,000 codes are going out in the evening. We'll keep you updated when the first codes start to arrive and when the wave is over. The next wave should start by the end of next week." voila.
I usually support most of NRS' decisions, but this is very poor consumer service.
