General/Other - Pyromancer Why Tanya has potential BEST zoning in new Meta of the game.

I do not judge match ups based on one series. I think I missed a plethora of opportunities (i.e., anti-airing teleports, doing wrong combos because of female hitbox, flash parrying dark shroud, punishing random dive kicks, etc.). I need more games and experience.
So even after 25-4 you're gonna say Tremor could win lmao. oh well I tried. My opinion remains the same 6-4 Tanya

It is better this way

He just said he saw some of that for the first time and needs to explore it on a deeper level. Getting bodied by shit you haven't seen much/any of isn't what determines a MU number. Not saying you're wrong, idk who beats who but I don't agree with that logic.

i can see the first two...but...Inferno? really?
Tanya's recovery on the fireballs and the speed and arc of their movement are all in favor of eating a teleport even from other variations. Having tools that can pester her full screen past that just makes it even more difficult for her.

yea but overhead minion is only +1 on hit. You don't get much from it.

I put the mu 5-5, can't you see it being even rather than scorpions favor??

Why does nobody mention that Revet beat Starcharger 3-0 at SCR?

He lost to Dragon 3-2 and to Bio, who plays a counterpick to Tanya.

Like I said before, Revet is basically me before TCW. Could beat anyone, randoms on TYM just don't know who he is, so they treat him like a random.

You can disagree with him, but you'll only embarrass yourself if you try to take it to the game with him.

Revet is definitely a great player. People like you said just don't know i suppose. It's a shame really, not sure how much it takes for people to realize you're good at the game.

His match up numbers are definitely not normal. Like idk personally about the Boneshaper or Tremor numbers, even though he did a number on Dave. One player playing one player doesn't really determine everything. Revet had wins over me before the patch, but I always felt like Tarkatan beat Pyro 6-4.

But who cares. Just discuss it. All of the tagging and calls outs are just gonna result in Revet embarrassing people, followed by people having their tailed tucked in between their legs, talking about how 30-2 sets are a result of bad mu knowledge.

That's true. We're talking about zoning though.

Not sure, really. I just don't think Tanya's fireballs are all that great.
But hey, prove me wrong.
I'd love to be wrong about Pyromancer when I say that everything she can do is pretty mediocre except for dust and kick cancel but the damage on that is pretty bad, especially since you need 1 bar on ex teleport to get anything going.
I'd love to be wrong when I say that any character I can think of that did well in tournament probably beats Pyromancer, such as but not limited to Smoke, Royal Storm, Sektor, Demo, Jason. I'm not going to call matchup numbers because I'm not @YOMI REO but I feel Pyro is at best lower-mid tier with no dirt and no tools to excel. Dust is good.
Plenty of armored moves are better.

Rude

You will serve me in The Netherrealm
The point is you're going around saying Tanya does this and that to Kitana yet you lost to someone who didn't even play the MU right. The sad part is you were playing it right and still lost. You lose all credibility to even comment on the matter after that.

You're also the only Tanya main I've ever heard of that thinks Tanya actually wins. This has been a winning MU for Kitana since like last year lol and like 95% of people agree.

Not to mention that Kitana got buffed A LOT this patch, while Tanya barely got anything.

Come on man this isn't a battle you'll win lol
I wasn't aware we determine mu numbers off of one ft3 set.

Sigh.
