Top 8 for Week 1 of The Kombat Cup is set!

Tonight's Kombat Cup saw a staggering count of more than 300 entrants, but only eight would qualify for this Wednesday's Top 8 finals!

Before we reveal who they are, we would like to extend a courteous thank-you to Stream.Me for being so gracious as to host this competitive online league for our awesome MKXL players! We also extend a handshake to @Aqueous_Echo and @Mr Aquaman for assisting with event organization and commentary!

And now...check out your first weekly Top 8 players for the Kombat Cup!

Don't forget that the Top 8 takes place this Wednesday at 8 P.M. EST! Be sure you are following their Stream.Me channel so that you don't miss out when they hit the airwaves!

As a reminder, each of the weekly preliminaries will begin every Sunday (barring holidays) and will progress until only the Top 8 remain. The finalists will re-convene every Wednesday on the Kombat Cup's Stream.Me page to battle it out for the crown.

There are like 7-8 Sub Zero's that are good. Some get shit for whatever reason, like Zoofs and Trap, but they're still both good. You give them a bracket full of good match ups or 5-5s for Sub, this is what happens.

I beat 3 good players just to lose to Sonicfox before top 8. Single elimination life boys.

Works fine for me, though I watched it on iPad....

The cast was awesome! Great stuff and big thanks to aquaman, echo and the stream.me dudes!

I really hope Dink dose well, be great to get a win vs the Fox... also I think Semij has a really strong game. Blake is the sentimental favourite for me, but the truth is .. Sonic vs Scar final is what I am expecting.

i cant watch the archives whats wrong with this? i really have some issues with stream.me i cant click stuff, neither Videos nor the FAQ.

edit: seems its an IE Problem, Firefox works
