Make sure the refresh rate for your in-game resolution is not set to lower than it should be, and also make sure Frame Smoothing is off.Ok, so I've got it downloaded, but for some reason I'm locked to 30 fps in game, but I get a solid 60 on the benchmark...why?
That's fair. For me personally, I typically buy a console when there are three or more exclusives I want to play on that platform. Hasn't happened yet, and there's no point for me to buy a $400.00 console plus pay a month membership for multi for a game I already own.Oh I understand. Its why I didn't have a way to play MKX till now. I just got my PS4 for KOF 14, Injustice 2, Musou and Bullethells like Genso Rondo and Battle Garegga.
Thats why given a choice...I'd rather double dip than even try PC again.
Same. I didn't buy until not one but two major fighting games I love were announced alongside of both Musou and a bullethell fighting game spinoff of a title I obsess over. Thats 5 games...enough for a gen of good memories honestly if all panned out. I tend to pick select genres or titles and play them to death. That's fair. Awesome, you'll get your money's worth out of your PS4 then, which is great!Same. Well...unless its on steam. Then its grabbed for pocket change. I have an obsession with bullethells and a weakness for point click and puzzle on my PC.
Oh. My. GOD. That's like retro-arcade-awesome on crack!Heh. If you wanna know my jam on PC pick yourself up a copy of Crimzon Clover World Ignition sometime
God I wish I could score like this man.
Dissable V-Sync. After that PC version actually has less input lag then on consoles.Loving MKX on PC so far. My only issue right now is that I am still experiencing a slight input delay. Not enough to change how I play the game, but it's still a noticible difference when I compare it to the console version. Any tips to fix it? Would be appreciated.
Would this be noticeable with Adaptive as well, or does Vsync actually need to be fully off for this? Do you know if the console versions lack vertical sync?Dissable V-Sync. After that PC version actually has less input lag then on consoles.
Consoles version both have fixed sync so you wont see any tearing. Adaptive sync is middle of the road, less input lag then Vsync but it's still there. Best to have it off unless you're allergic to any screen tearing.Would this be noticeable with Adaptive as well, or does Vsync actually need to be fully off for this? Thanks. Yeah, I read up on vertical sync and learned the differences in terms of display a few years back; didn't know about the effects on inputs though.Consoles version both have fixed sync so you wont see any tearing. It's in game -> Options -> PC Graphics settings. Thanks for the response. Them fast reactions lol. nah, but seriously, forgive my ignorance, but where do I turn that off on the game options or is that on the PC graphics card settings?
I need to try and bump my res up then. 1600x900 was the best option before. 1080p was a little bit much for it before. My PC has been a little flakey so I've been on ps4 since the update. It's flakey too though, I think the power sucks at my new place.Downloaded the XL update last night, and QLOC did improve performance. Before, I was able to play at a solid 59.5 FPS with all the bells and whistles on and Vsync Fixed, but at 1600x900.
Now, I can play in 1080p with Vsync at nVidia Adaptive, and Motion Blur Off, every other option maxed. Same frame rate.
I've heard only positive things and that the game is overall more forgiving.Has anyone recived a performance downgrade since XL? I used to run the game, and even the beta maxed out at 60fps, now it doesn't matter what setting I run it at, it never breaks 40
I adjusted all the settings I could. I'll try updating my drivers to see if that's the issue. Also is it me, or the game really CPU hungry?I've heard only positive things and that the game is overall more forgiving.
Are you running the latest drivers on your system? Have you tried adjusting the resolution?
Once done the driver update, if you have an nVidia card, try optimizing the game via GeForce Experience. And yes, this game is very CPU hungry.I adjusted all the settings I could. I'll try updating my drivers to see if that's the issue. Also is it me, or the game really CPU hungry?
So after doing a clean install of my drivers.... nothing. Im at a loss. Even if i set my pc to the LOWEST possible settings, I still can't break 40fps. Its just weird I used to run the game maxed out no problemOnce done the driver update, if you have an nVidia card, try optimizing the game via GeForce Experience. If your CPU is stronger than your GPU, set particles to CPU.
I dunno this might help and some people overlook but try turning your power settings to high performance if not already. It is in the control panel>hardware and sound>power options. So after doing a clean install of my drivers.... nothing. Im at a loss. I have an AMD GPU. And when I use the software from them to optimize the game for performance, It just maxes all of my settings.I dunno this might help and some people overlook but try turning your power settings to high performance if not already. Edit: Also make sure your PhysX is configured to your gpu in the Nvidia control panel it resets after every driver update under "Configure surround, PhysX" How much of a difference this makes I don't know but it might help.
My bad I thought u had a nvidia card, did you trying power options?I have an AMD GPU. And when I use the software from them to optimize the game for performance, It just maxes all of my settings.
Are you having probs in other games or just MKX? Maybe try bench marking your gpu with like unengine valley or heaven and comparing it to other users with similar builds.I have an AMD GPU. And when I use the software from them to optimize the game for performance, It just maxes all of my settings.
