To everyone saying not to nerf the HQT cancels. I have some things to say to yoy. First, do you want the other variations to be as good as HQT like they should be? Because if so, make some damn sacrifices. If you want to buff the other variations to be stronger you need to suck it up and take some nerfs otherwise you get mileena and Takeda. Secondly, anyone in this group that's shit talking REO, knock it the fuck off he knows more about this game than any of you put together and you give him your damn respect because he deserves it. His knowledge on the game is so immense he's probably forgotten more than you've learned about NRS games. Lastly, your character is actually good (HQT that is) stop complaining about him, play an actually bad character for an extensive amount of time then come back to me with your actually deserved salt.
If you think HQT has to be nerfed in order to buff the other 2 variations then you severely lack in imagination.
Secondly please don't be a fan boy yes I respect REO but it doesn't mean I have to blindly agree with everything he says especially if I think what he is saying makes no sense. How do you know I don't know as much as he does about the game? Your just assuming because frankly you just don't know.
For everyone who doesn't seem to understand let me explain why his cancels shouldn't be nerfed and the options HQT has after a cancel because the way your talking, it would seem you don't know and are just agreeing with what reo said and letting him do the thinking for you.
Firstly let me say I don't play the character I just sympathise with pred players. But reo does play pred's other variations and is a bit of a character loyalist so there may be some inherent bias with his suggestions consciously or not it has to be noted.
Ok so pred has 1 jailing cancel which is s4 into f12 - his options are he can low laser after f12 or cancel f12 aswell and get a grab or block and bait and armour.
Every other cancel he has is armour-able. His options after every other cancel is
-21 which is neutral or
-21 into low laser (-7)
-grab
-bait an armour
So the worst he gets is a 12% grab or he baits your armour and get a full combo punish.
He can't - I repeat he cannot mix you up after any cancel because he can be poked or armoured.
The sole purpose of his cancels are to hit confirm and or bait that's it.
So now can you explain why his cancels are O.P and need to be nerfed? He's only options if reo's suggestions are followed is to bait that's it, no more shitty 12% grab or being neutral you would literally just cancel and block.
