So I plan on getting back into KI.
How are Hisako and Sadira in season 3?
Eyedol is the bain of existence for Sadira, he is so big that he can AA her with almost any special (warrior stance) not to mention zoning stance. Other then that she seems fine.

Hisako is the same - lives and dies by the parry.

I really think you should follow your own advice and check it coz you're obviously wrong. I lab everything coz i'm a lab rat. He is safe on almost anything in warrior stance. To be perfectly clear:

- most used command normal (forward moving 3 punches) F+HP -> 0 on block and is special cancelable

- F+MP -> -1 on block (overhead and recapture)

- MP -> +2 on block

- HP -> +1 on block

- LK -> +2 on block

Specials:

- Mace slam on block -> light: -1, medium: 0 , heavy: +1 (and this becomes even +5 when meter burned)

- Shoulder slam -> light: -2, medium: -5, heavy: -9 (-1 when meter burned)

The only special that is really punishable beside heavy shoulder slam (no idea why anybody would use it) is his uppercut which is fully invincible for heavies and also restands.

Eyedol in warrior stance is a powerhouse and by design super scary pressure character.
Thanks for the breakdown
You beat me to it
He really is a beast

I played a Fulgore from this group yesterday. Can't remember who it was but do you have any pointers? I had a Fulgore, he's one of my favorites and I want to get good with him.

It might have been me

The games are in the playlist I uploaded

I honestly just started playing him 2 months ago

With PIP cancels he can just be yolo with teleport mix ups
His MP laser is safe on block and so are his blade charge specials
He can dictate the pace of the match by zoning at will or starting offense pretty much at will

Let's stow the condescension. The charge special is unsafe and punishable at medium and heavy, while -2 isn't a great thing in a game where jabs clock in at 4 frames on average. The club special leaves him at neutral. All of his crouching normals except MP are -2 or worse. And as you so adeptly pointed out, he's no more than +2 on anything else.

He is very strong and a monster yes, but there are much safer characters than Eyedol who basically remains neutral except when using cr. MP for +4. His terror is in his neutral game and mix-up game, not his "safe" pressure.

And all I had said to you was that a check might be warranted of the data as I believed his charge was punishable (which two of three versions are and the remaining is unsafe) and that a medium was punishable. These statements were true.

Ggs. With Mira use more wall splat ender into grab to get health back to save your meter. Shadow counters and shadow bats are what you want and shadow bats is probably one of her best tools

Also you guys seem to always pick my personal worst mus. I suck at fighting thunder and I don't like the jago v spinal mu. Ha the only way it could be worse is if someone picked up Tj

Also just a thought but I think eyedols f hp may not be so good. I was able to shadow counter between the 2nd and 3rd hit and I suspect the same is true for several other moves like that in the game( Jagos f he comes to mind)

Not really. I mean yeah sure Eyedol has some decent options but it only works with conjunction of safe pressure. And nobody said there aren't safer characters in the game, coz obviously there are that doesn't change the fact that Eyedol Warrior stance frames are pretty good.

And nobody uses medium or heavy ass charge (like we call it) to cover space unless meter burned to go throu projectiles. Why bother if you have safe or slightly + options.

You can shadow counter almost any move depending on your reaction time. Has nothing to do with that move being good or bad. Eyedol F HP is great coz it goes almost full screen has good start up and is neutral at block. Can whiff punish almost anything. Yes its easy shadow counter but then again you need a bar for that and most decent Eyedol players now dont abuse it anyway unless they see you dont have a meter... then they just go ham. :>

Shago and Sadira are cancer. :>

But... there is a cure and its called Eyedol!

All they want to do is jump, cross-tele and Eyedol completely dominates in the air in warrior stance with heavy jumping punch (in mage stance its also good with all those anti-air tools). Been killing Shago and Sadira players for few hours now in ranked its so satisfying. :>

The second Shago players learn to stay on the ground & Sadira's learn to use Cr. FP in footsies will be a scary day.

Which will never happen, coz all their "life" they bullied everybody in the air so AA is a magic for them. And now when they get totally rekted in the air and they try to stay on the ground they're like chickens waiting to be slaughter. They say karma is a bitch. ;)

If I owned the game I would be putting in some time with Shago because his ground game interest me, but till then I just gotta stick with Riptor & Gargos for local tournaments.

Have you fought any Cinders? I play him I've found the MU a mix of weird mainly cause Eyedol's new and my breaking sucks but I can kinda dominate if I get the right momentum
