Always press buttons
Once I get through Kan-Ra's obstacle course, I just go ham LOL

I honestly don't know his frame data since I really don't spend time in the lab
When I have time I can look it up.

I try to use lights and mediums when in close and space out other buttons and specials since I don't know if they are safe or not

His over head (F+MP) isn't special cancelable, I have to link a manual afterwards
His triple swing advancing command normal can be shadow countered but is special cancelable
His jumping HP recaptures and so does his HP Uppercutish special
His rushing headbutt I try not to use a lot unless I have Stocks or instinct to make it safe
I definately had better luck with Cinder against him than Kan-Ra. Just you kept frame 1 or 2 breaking me everytime. Like holy shit lol

Cinder has the mobility to cause issues vs Warrior stance, don't be afraid to sit on the life lead once you get it
You do a good job with the manuals and I'm still getting used to recognizing the strengths of his buttons
You just gotta mix up your use of auto doubles I seemed to pick up on some patterns

Kan-Ra's autos are really hard to distinguish for me

Cinder has the mobility to cause issues vs Warrior stance, don't be afraid to sit on the life lead once you get it

It's the doubles and following linkers. I have a bad habit of using the same strength linker as the double before it which might have been hanging me a lot. I really hate the analog stick on xbox one. I'm a dpad guy but xbox dpads are usually ass

No, a side from upercut (invinc. as heavy and also restands) he is safe a cross the board even + on specials and some normals and add to this a great restand medium (-1 on block) . Eyedol is a powerhouse when it comes to pressure (obviously only in warrior stance).
I really think you might need to recheck the frame data. I'm almost positive I had been punished consistently off of blocked charges and I think one of his mediums is -4.

I really think you should follow your own advice and check it coz you're obviously wrong. I lab everything coz i'm a lab rat. He is safe on almost anything in warrior stance. To be perfectly clear:

- most used command normal (forward moving 3 punches) F+HP -> 0 on block and is special cancelable

- F+MP -> -1 on block (overhead and recapture)

- MP -> +2 on block

- HP -> +1 on block

- LK -> +2 on block

Specials:

- Mace slam on block -> light: -1, medium: 0 , heavy: +1 (and this becomes even +5 when meter burned)

- Shoulder slam -> light: -2, medium: -5, heavy: -9 (-1 when meter burned)

The only special that is really punishable beside heavy shoulder slam (no idea why anybody would use it) is his uppercut which is fully invincible for heavies and also restands.

Eyedol in warrior stance is a powerhouse and by design super scary pressure character.

I fall victim to the same and have to tell myself to do different

I use the pad

I guess it's an acquired taste

also can somebody explain in detail how the frame data works in this game? it seems like almost a lot of stuff is positive. You aren't guaranteed anything off of +2 things in this game are u?

Nope, not from +2 but some shadows are like +5/6 and gives some character certain options. Althou keep in mind that throws have only 4 frames startup in KI.

Im down for some sets in like 30-40 minutes, my Eyedol is still free but im getting there.

KI is beautiful on my hitbox. also so that means if i do kim wu's medium dragon dance (+2) on block, i can't just hit st medium punch to frame trap em? they can reversal something faster than my dragon dance start up? or just poke?
