what nuance in taste does playing a video game in a tournament that you drown in pools at provide over not doing that in your ability for valid criticism over character models in said game

does this model look good to you outside of an indie ps2 game, yes or no? did you know that they disabled comments on their video prob because people are super confused about this?

The thing is, it's very distracting. It not only looks bad, it's like uncanny valley bad. It looks like somebody grafted a face onto someone's body and it's just floating on top of it.

True, it has no impact on her gameplay, but it's not a good look and it won't help sell games. I have no interest in playing the character - and part of that is lack of visual appeal.

I didn't say it would affect my gameplay. Why on Earth would you think that? I said that it takes away her visual appeal. It's downright creepy and I don't want to look at it.

As for sales, it will have an effect. Everything has an effect. 90% of the people that will buy this game aren't in it for the mechanics and competitive aspect. They want to play their favorite DC heroes in a fighting game. NRS is 0-2 on female faces so far in this game. They need to get their act together.

I think they should have cast someone who is at least 6 foot. Though from the small pool of actors I know I think that Gina Carano should have done it. She is a little short stll, but she has muscles and isn't built like a stick insect and is a MMA fighter champion so knows how to throw a punch and look awesome doing it.

She played the strongwoman in Deadpool recently.

What is it that you're expecting to read entering character reveal threads, trailer's exclusively meant to impress consumers in the most superficial way possible - frame data, some detailed matchup charts, max damage bnbs?

You're upset people dare discuss character designs as opposed to what in a 2 min character reveal trailer?

We should know better than to have standards and be vocally disappointed when nrs greases extra green dookie on their already low-bar face models. There's nothing pointless about expressing your disatisfaction through memes with a product someone is trying to sell me.

I'm not upset, dude. I just think it's super childish and pointless to complain about a model that every one knows will change. Instead of saying anything remotely positive about the footage, the talk is about an aesthetic that won't affect actual gameplay.

It's petty complaining from people that are going to buy the game anyway, simply so they have something to complain about.


Personally, I think the faces in MKX are fine. That's completely on me though, sure.
