Also if yall don't want Dave and Buster Food there is food around the area. including a Wawa and a Waffle house around 5 minutes away driving distance. If yall are about that life.
The Dave and Busters is actually attached to a mall so there are also plenty of other good eats within walking distance.

Here is a full list of eats at the mall as well as location.

September can't get here fast enough. I'm already registered and ready to go. One question tho is there any hotels near the event? I'll be staying the weekend and dont really know what's close

I'm getting a WaWa's built right across the road from where I work, which is a two minute drive from where I live. I can't effin' wait. I've heard nothing but good stuff about them and their sandwiches.

Its great. But every so often you just get unlucky and the sandwich doesn't taste that great. It happens everywhere. I think maybe like 1 out of 20+ trips i get one and I'm like its not as good as usual.

Another plus is there are several pokestops inside the mall. Get bodied in the tournament? No problem! Go out and become a Pokemon master in your downtime.
There is a pokestop inside the Dave and Buster's. We found it Monday :) I am going to be requesting a gym and popping lures day of

Tha fuck is a WaWa. Sounds like a STD from Dubai or some shit.
Wawa is big on the East Coast. Its like a 7-11 on steroids. They have a Deli that makes just about anything. They have great coffee. That have lots of snack-type foods, drinks, and desert-type stuff. If you don't know Wawa, that sucks for you because Wawa is great.

For anyone who doesn't know, Mr. Aquaman is the absolute best at organizing this type of event. If you're anywhere close, go. The players and organizers there will make you feel welcome. If you can't go, save the time and tune in. It will be the absolute highest level of MK with characters and variations you don't normally see - and it will be all matches - meaning there will be very few breaks in the action. The commentary will be professional and spot on. This is an event you don't want to miss if you're an MKX fan.

"THIS IS THE CORNER. YOU CAN'T GET OUT. YOU LIVE HERE! CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS TO THE CORNER IN THE DEAD WOODS SONICFOX!" - DarthArma Commentating the match between DJT and SonicFox.

Oh man, to think I watched that match live. It made me want to pick up Fisticuffs ASAP. That grand finals was so hype.

This is exciting for me. I have been watching off and on the FGC via streams since the release of SF4. I never thought I would have a high-caliber tourney being held within 5 minutes of my home.

Being an old guy, I missed out on the FG scene by 10 years. I was there at the beginning back in the 80s arcade scene. So to see one of my favorite genres grow to where it's now at (EVO/ESPN) is something else.

I can't wait to support the tourney and check it out in person. I am a huge fan of NRS games ever since MK vs DC. I can't wait for injustice 2 and might just compete at next year's tourney for the hell of it.

My dream game: Marvel vs. DC by NRS. One can only dream.

My hope is TCW can grow big enough to see NRS staff visit. Who knows but realistically a tourney near their HQ has the best shot for that.

BTW depending on how busy the Navy airbase is next door you might be looking up at the sky when at the mall and seeing fighter jets a few hundred feet overhead in the landing pattern. Weekends tend to be pretty slow though. Too bad the tourney didn't happen the week prior because you would being seeing a huge air show going on nearby.
