Fair play to him and there's no reason he should ever stop considering it's free money and fame but it's kinda hard to get hype for a Top 8 when you see Sonic still in it. I know it's not like he's monopolizing majors, King, DJT, MIT, Dizzy, Scar and Hayatei (I think) have all won Majors in MKX but still it's just boring to watch Sonic annihilate people every time, every year.

Just qualified for Grand Finals, hasn't lost a game in Top 8, hasn't broken a sweat. Peerless, exceptional and brilliant.

You may not be one of them, but I've seen countless comments from people claiming he relies on cheap characters/tactics, etc. I get the anticlimactic complaint as it almost always feels like a foregone conclusion, but at the end of the day your last sentence really says it all. "Peerless, exceptional and briliiant." Indeed.

5 games have to fit all day.
Anime usually gets this time slot, so they decided to change it up and let GG shine since it did so well last year.

The game is so early because everything has to run on time because SFV is going to be on ESPN2, so they can't have any game going super overtime, SFV has to be ready at the that specific time.

Oh those people are jackasses. I remember Dave pushing the whole "Fox has no fundamentals" agenda. Anybody pushing that shit is salty that they aren't half the player Sonic is. I just wish the kid would maybe NOT be so damned good all the damn time

They really don't like us. This reference won't get a lot of play here but NRS players are basically the Millwall Fans of the FGC. "No one likes us, we don't care"

They're known by a larger overall audience, and the probable feeling was that viewers were more likely to stick around and watch a stream where they are familiar with the commentators.

I like Aris and UD a lot; I think they do a good job and it's cool they show NRS love. That said, it would've been great if K&M had been given the opportunity to take the reigns this time and be given a lot of exposure so everyone could see how great they are on the mic.
