To be fair, Dab has played more characters than Tanya and Alien, such as Jacqui and I think two other characters, but the names aren't coming to me. Dragon, after Tanya got nerfed, tried to play Kitana and just didn't do well at all, so he picks Alien to save face and have his rekka pressure again. I feel there is a strong difference between Dab and Dragon I'm this situation.
I think the difference is that DAB has been a respectable player that plays with other characters besides the ones you listed for a while. Dragon hasnt really played any other characters but Alien and Tanya.
He played Jacqui....ok, that kind of strengthens my point to be honest. If I recall correctly, he didn't catch bodies in ESL with her, definitely did not*** see him in Top 8s at majors with her....Please correct me if wrong. That's even more comparable to Dragon playing Kitana and not doing well. And, I'd say Jacqui is stronger than Kitana, so that kind of builds on it. I'm not trying to be an authority, if Dab has results with Jacqui, lemme know.
That wasn't my point at all, in fact the opposite. I don't have any issue with people picking strong characters, I'm pointing out selective criticism.
He hasn't had success, he made effort. I think Jax was one attempt during ESL. I know he was practicing Jax with Toxin during ESL.
This was exactly my point. If Dragon was 25, I don't think he'd get the same disrespect. Or it's something else. His ESL shenanigans was suspect, I'll admit that. But, He's a good player who doesn't get the respect.
