Bay Area MKX Scene?

Hey people. How are you all doing?

Sorry, I know this is an old thread (looked through the rules and couldn't find anything warning against resurrecting old threads). I just moved to San Rafael yesterday and I'm dying to play MKX with some people. Are any of the events mentioned in this thread still in existence? Upon looking up the aforementioned events/twitters/facebooks I couldn't find anything that still goes on.

I'm a pretty mediocre player, but I'm looking to get better. I'm down to play with anyone or any group of people in the Bay Area.

Hey man! Glad you found this thread. Unfortunately there are not too many events up here but I'll introduce you to a private thread where there are a few people who play offline. We have some pretty good players here that would be more than happy to play with you and help you level up. Myself included. We typically play online now but like I said were all friendly and more than happy to play with you!

Yo guys! I haven't seen any posts about this, so I'm gonna let you know that Razor just opened a store at the Westfield shopping center in San Francisco this weekend. It's a store/gaming center that hosts gaming activities such as tournaments.

Notice how the writer said he'd be surprised if MKX isn't there.

I remember people saying they couldn't go to Brewcade because they were too young and they served alcohol so they couldn't go. So this place may work better.

Not by much as far as I'm concerned, lol! There are a few players who meet in Fremont to play games on Saturdays. I don't know how much alive that is as I work on that day and haven't been to a session since September. They do have a message thing going on with all those players on this site if you'd like to be apart of that. I'd have to figure out how to add you.

Yeah.. I would definitely like to be part of that... I kould take BART to get to Fremont so hopefully it's still going.

we still have a small group that gets together at my place (fremont). though some of us don't play mkx anymore, it is sure to pick up for injustice 2. sharkade (san jose) will probably have injustice 2, and there was some gaming shop that opened up in san francisco not too long ago that was willing to host injustice 2.

My friends in SoCal have pretty much all got the game now... Does anyone up here have it or know of a place that breaks the release date? It seems pretty desolate up here in terms of the NRS scene.
