Last night was the smallest turnout we had since January but it was still mad fun! With many of Austin's heavy hitters out of town, defending Austin against Abram and his crew was a daunting task. In Winners Finals DrGoodBear tried to use the button check OS but met with little success. Abram took the set; quick 3-0. Check out more below:
On the Losers side PoserPaul, the last SA native, fought valiantly. Would our Austin weekly by usurped entirely by San Antonio? In Losers Quarters SWM500Magnum was down 0-2 against PoserPaul but ran it all the way back and finally eliminated Paul. So SWM500Magnum & Brytor fought it out for the privilege to be Austin's last defender. TF Goro's frame traps would be too much for the unsuspecting SWM500Magnum. In Losers Finals Brytor ran through his gamut of characters but could not find an answer for DrGoodBear.
Grand Finals Senor Abram (W) vs DrGoodBear (L)
Casual mode was turned off. Friend mode was put away. The car ride back to SA might be nasty. By the end of the quickest set you'll ever see, I heard reports of a San Antonio bear found dead in the streets of Austin.
Next Time...
Will Senor Abram continue to reign supreme in Austin? Will the likes of Henzzar, Vibu & ATP return to defend their realm? Or is MKX dead?
