The look does go a long way. You couldn't just put the hair and eye color on anybody and have it work. Honestly, if you expect much from any acting from an MK movie, you are in for disappointment. I want the characters to LOOK authentic with a lot of action. Megan Fox doesn't have to act much, as long as she looks the part and the choreography is on point.

Megan Fox as Kitana is so fucking dumb though. I have no hope for a live action MK movie, especially after reading that they plan to move away from the mythical elements. Liu Kang working in a supermarket, wtf? Sounds so awful already.

I think we'll see Legacy Season 3 long before this. If the movie even still happens.

Not too impressed with the writer's resumes either lol.

But, to the point, I have no doubt Megan could nail this.

Back in late 2014/early 2015 there were some twitter stuff on Casper Van Dien's, Cary H. Tagawa's, Ray Park's and Garrett Warren's twitter pages about a series called "Mortal Kombat X: Generations".
Principal photography took place on January '15 and it was supposed to launch a little afterwards MKX's debut.
Then, nothing...
The director, Gar. Warren (MK Legacy's second season stunt coordinator) has answered one or two questions regarding the project, but nothing really helpful was said.
Also, if anyone has recently tried to watch MK Legacy season 2 episodes, then you must have found nothing on Machinima's channel. They have been set to "PRIVATE" some months now and only exist as an edited version of a "movie" on some people's channels and that's it.
James Wan indeed was said to produce a possible MK movie which -supposedly- was to have a budget of 40-50 million $$$.

I know it has been known. I thought I would sum up everything since these news made front page after some time, plus I wanted to push all related links in there as well. The fact that the 2nd season of MK Legacy is no longer available on Machinima's channel hasn't been mentioned quite as much.

I think she could potentially do it, not sure she'd be my first choice though I mean not for nothing but not since the original MK movie and MKC series, have we've seen a really good Kitana. The one from MKL came off as boring and bland to me, I dont know...

But honestly, IF they did cast her I'd live with it, I'd prefer Gal Gadot though personally or Kate Beckinsale.

I'd love her to be Kitana AND Mileena - cause they're twins and we don't need different actresses to be them. And yes, we need a hot Kitana, not that awful and ugly girl that played Kitana on MK Legacy. I'd also love Olivia Munn to be Kitana/Mileena.

Kitana had barely any dialogue or relevance in the first and best MK movie; it is the perfect role for Megan Fox. Remember that she draws in a huge amount of money when she's in a summer blockbuster. She's not an oscar winning actress but she is a sex symbol which is frankly what Mileena and Kitana are. Choreography, CGI, and practice, can go a long way in making her a realistic kombatant; just look at Olivia Munn in X-Men: Apocalypse.
