I guess. I wouldn't really call it that steep though. You can easily learn just by practicing online, unless you're a complete beginner."Which minion should I use?" is about the extent of Inferno's learning curve.

nah, BB can only be done for Predators cancels. Have to FFBlock like a real run out of Fireball cancels, makes going for things like B3, FFblock, B12 in time kinda tricky unfortunatelyOk, question for any of you run cancel character specialists. The cancel input can be done either with BB or FF - eg for cages or kangs cancels. Is there ever a reason to choose BB over FF or vice versa? Or are they pretty much interchangeable?
get a hitbox : )IAGuns
Without the IAGs, try Spec Ops or Brawler.Cassie kills me. Id love to play her but her run cancels, IAGuns, low start up ground projectile, lack of forward advancing specials all kill me. I just don't know how to play her effectively. It is weird... she one of the best characters in the game, but she plays to every single weakness I have as a player.
I think that is just what makes Kenshi low tier. The learning curve is just the amount of weaknesses he has. If we're talking about it that way, he's really not worth learning. From execution standpoint, probably D'Vorah, JC, Jax HW, Liu Kang DF, HF Scorpion, DM BRC and Cassie to an extent
Gameplan, probably Kenshi as he has a hard time against a lot of the characters and the learning curve extends even more especially Balanced. Raiden in generally as well as his combos is easy but he has some difficulty against some MU's unless he's got you cornered. Smoke is also a candidate as he basically has no armor and u can be grabbed/poked out of the evaporation and u have to be on point which your reads as you can get punished badly.
I think some characters just click with you better than others. I guarantee if you hit the training room for an hour or two, you'll feel a lot more confident. It takes practice, but little by little you'll catch on. In the end though, it might just be a character you don't have fun playing and that's OK too. There's no point in playing if you're using MLG 420 tier character but aren't having fun.Cassie kills me. It all depends on your defintion of a learning curve. Dualist, slasher, and other variations are hard to use because their toolsets are so limited. Run cancel variations like A-list (as a hellfire player I will exclude hellfire) are hard to use because it takes a while to master the execution. You could argue that Tremor is hard to use solely because the rock punch inputs are hard to get used to (VERY TRUE STATEMENT)I mean, compared to Dualist, A-list and all that, he seems pretty brain dead. For a high level I think it takes a lot because he is a low tier character.

EDIT: Tremor is hard to use now because NRS nerfed to the ground or downright removed most of his gameplan. RIP Tremor
I agree with you about Kenshi, especially Balanced. His game plan isn't obvious and it's different from his MK9 game plan where he zones you out with Spirit Charge and forces the opponent to come at him. Possessed plays more like MK9 Kenshi than Balanced does. From execution standpoint, probably D'Vorah, JC, Jax HW, Liu Kang DF, HF Scorpion, DM BRC and Cassie to an extent

Liu Kang can cancel w BB also. So can Johnnynah, BB can only be done for Predators cancels. Have to FFBlock like a real run out of Fireball cancels, makes going for things like B3, FFblock, B12 in time kinda tricky unfortunately
so can Scorp, but what it does it backdash them instead of run them.Liu Kang can cancel w BB also. So can Johnny
It's difficult when you can lose the entire tide of momentum just for puking. You have to constantly drink while keeping pressure on your opponent or drinking while getting pressured. Cause a vomit equals free combo for your opponent. But it's worth it for the high meter less damage with him.I don't get: What makes DM so hard? I mean, it reminds me of Dualist LK, it's harder but inferior compared to the 2 other variations. I believe that concept is just stupid.
I'm assuming BB means Back back?? If so, that's to bait. Most would expect you to keep the pressure on them with cancensl so they'll attempt an armor so back dashing out your cancel can put you at a close distance to punish and for the opponent to whiff their move completely.Ok, question for any of you run cancel character specialists. Well Bo is already a shit character that requires a lot of work to have success with, while adding having to keep up with drinking and not barf while maintaining the neutral makes the hill to climb that much harder.I don't get: What makes DM so hard?
