Northwest Florida (GB/Pensacola/etc) SFV/MKX meet ups/tournaments

ATTN: Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, and all surrounding areas:

Just looking for more players in the NW Florida region to train and play with, and compete with as well. Seems like the big thing in the FGC around here is smash brothers ... but I'm hoping to find more players interested in MKX (priority 1) and SFV. I'm still keeping an eye on local tournaments and hopefully can attend one soon, but would like to get to know some more people and hopefully level up. I've been playing SF and MKX with Cam The Sage a lot recently and we're both looking to help the community grow and play some sets IRL. If you're reading this Chakk-Dizzle I sent you a friend request on PSN but dunno if you saw it.

Haha! The dead zone is quite an apt title for our area. Nice to meet you man and thanks for the kind gesture. That would be awesome. I think you'd be about an hour away from us unless my geography is off? Cam and I haven't met in person yet but plan to get up and do so soon, play some sets and train. Are you on PSN or XBL, btw? It would be cool to all get in an online lobby and play each other in the mean time until we could meet up.

Also, I work for Hilton hotels and my fiancee is a sales director meaning I have access to conference rooms so I would love to organize something and try to build the community up a little if everybody was interested.

I sneak mine into work sometimes, though lol. That would be great man! If we get enough people and have a tournament maybe one of the prizes could be free hotel stays haha.

I missed this thread. But we've got weekly sfv sessions in pensacola, and I am going to start hosting injustice sessions weekly in pensacola as well. Will probably make a thread. Just need to figure out which day. Sfv is tonight though.
