Could you enlighten me? I only main Ethereal and only use Ravenous against Ermac and Smokes now.
Ravenous isn't bad it just doesn't bring anything new to the table. The best thing about her is that she can make everything safe with low pounce but even then your -4 with a gap. Why would you pick that over ethereal where you can make everything plus without a gap and a full combo on hit. And I don't see the point in having unsafe low damaging command grab that only hits crouching opponents and is only viable off 1 string.

Yeah I was afraid you'd say that. I just use Ravenous to optimize F343 combos in the corner, though Ethereal has a nice 50% in the corner too.

Not as much now as before, but you will be spending it if you play Ethereal. Potential combo breakers aside, Ethereal still doesn't have much without EX Fade. It makes the variation.

Ravenous offers people the chance to play aggressive and pressure based without bar.

The thing is low pounce guarantees me pressure and rushdown at no expense of bar. Her low pounce is a great tool to force the opponent to get baited into blocking high and then they get hit with a roll and bite combo which is an okay punish. Plus, her neutral in this variation is ten times better than in Ethereal as your only option is to waste a bar to make her stuff safe.

Plus, her neutral in this variation is ten times better than in Ethereal as your only option is to waste a bar to make her stuff safe.
If it fits you better that's great I just can't think of any matchup I would pick it over piercing or ethereal. And i'm not a big fan of the risky mileena playstyle.

There's a slew of matchups that I'd use Ravenous and Ethereal over, and sometimes I'd stick with just Ravenous (even though Ethereal maybe on paper infinitely better.) Her zoning is still good in this variation and the mix-up game is even better in this variation honestly. The high pounce and low pounce with the EX Roll leads to some serious good advantages to me than Ethereal would (at the expense of more than 1-2 bars.)

2.5%. Eat a d4 the test the heal. I recommend don't end combos with bite. Optimizing the damage is better
Not sure I mean the what you don't do in damage you get in life. I usually use it when I have less health than my opponent to try and level things up and it seems to work. One combo into bite and we are back at even health or I am up on health.

The problem is it's not easy to connect B12 bite ender. roll, B34 air sai, B12 bite does 27% and heals 2.5% (the only thing I can connect B12 is after B34 air sai). But roll, jump kick telekick air sai, run B22 pounce does like 32%. You lose too much damage. If you choose to heal yourself sometimes you can win with a magic pixel, that's good. But if you don't choose to do max damage combos your opponents may end up with 1% then make a miracle come back. Pick one way to go

in my opinion is the best ravenous variation
 
I only use it for the Brutality.
Don't forget it's unbreakable damage from the moment she jumps on her opponent. useful for when your opponent almost has a breaker and they're at low health, you know they'll want to break as soon they have it but can't
