My streamed match was my first match of the day. I got bopped so hard but I need that. Like lettering the first strike you see fly by in baseball. This is my first MKX major and I haven't been as invested in the offline scene so I wasn't really sure how I would stack up to real tournament competition.

The rest of the games I felt 100x better but still wasn't on point. Some of it was nerves and some of it was me getting in my own head and not playing instinctually. I hardly used d2 and other fundamental Kano stuff. My neutral wasn't good either.

Ended up going 3-2 and losing to takeda (fuck takeda for real). I lost to Pnut (sektor) and the guy who knocked out gross. Overall I'm happy with my play but I know I should have played better. Lesson learned.

Btw...my streamed match was the 2 or 3rd match after the power went out the second time (gross was playing)

i am not surprised that @EMPR_MURK made top 32 and i wont be surprised if he does much better than that.

is a girl kicking ass that by itself is very hype add to it that she look like she is 11 and that is even more hype add to it (i am no sure but it look like she is in a wheelchair )and that is even more hype ...it shows that fighting games are for anyone out there who loves them

Kinda sounds like your own fault for not knowing a damn thing about any of these players or even just reading the thread to see people complaining about FKJr's lengthy combos.

Martian manhunter didn't place well at all the first few months he came out. Doesn't mean he wasn't overpowered and deserving of nerfs.

By the same token, these placements mean very little. KP2 may or may not be broke, but the placements are no guarantee either way. Should be decided by looking at the characters' tools and matchups.
