Why do you guys think that they should make a new game?

cus injustice was the most hype nrs game in the history of nrs games
it's like if you took the hype of umvc3 and put it in mk9

I'd absolutely like there to be a KP3 if no other reason than to make sure this game stays alive as long as possible.

Don't want to keep training and finally reach a competitive peak that I'm satisfied with only to discover people have dropped the game.

Same. I'm in a position where I want to compete in this game for a long time so I hope it stays alive for as long as possible, a good 3-5 years.

I wouldn't mind but it's probably not gonna happen cause they literally just released the komplete edition of the game. More dlc would seem kinda like a big middle finger to XL buyers.

I don't see it as a complete edition. Boon has kinda teased more DLC / possible story pack so who knows what will happen. Plus, a lot of characters still need new skins like tremor, Tanya, basically all the DLC characters.

I'd like to see this game live for as long as possible. This is my first time getting into the competitive side of gaming, and learning MK in a more technical way has been a fun challenge since I didn't get into MK9 heavily. I don't want this game to die in a year due to lack of support, and with SF5 out, it would be in the best interest of NRS to keep supporting this game as long as they can.

If a KP3 comes out, I'd want nothing but classic MK fighters, I'm done with the guest characters. While I would love rain, sindel, fujin and noob, I wouldn't mind having them as long as they're part of the next MK and have a place in the main roster / story.

Id like them to continue supporting mkx. More dlc 4-6 months from now would be great.

I want MK games to stick around longer then their current 2 year life cycle. SF4 was around for like 8 years, I dont think MKX needs to stick around THAT long, but at this point if KP2 is the final thing we are getting that means that MKX was supported for less than a year. less than a year.... SF4 gets 7-8 years of support and mkx gets 1? NRS can do better than that. Keep the game alive for 3-4 years.

Im in no hurry for injustice 2, it would even be nice if they could co exist, with INJ 2 getting worked on and content while MKX still gets content and attention. That would be ideal, but we will prolly just get inj 2 and less than a year of support of that too before mk11 comes out 2 years after inj 2.

I used to like the idea of having new characters, but balancing is so difficult with variations and so many characters. If ever there were a KP3, hopefully it only includes stages. brutalities, skins, etc. No more characters.

If IGAU 2 brings back either Doomsday or Deathstroke, I'll be 100% good to go right off the bat. While I've never been a huge comic book guy, I loved Injustice and getting a sequel on deck would be hype as hell.
That being said, I want the momentum of MKX to last as long as humanly possible, so I am very much holding out hope for either a KP3 or an ultimate edition souped up with new stuff. I think a burst of fan service new hotness will be in order come holiday time, and I refuse to believe that MKX will come and go without Fujin eventually making it into the roster.
Fujin, Reiko, Sareena and either Havik or Rain would be awesome. But I'm expecting something more like a new set of stages and costumes, maybe more Story Mode stuff, new factions or faction level ceilings, and Fujin taking the random select square on the board.

Yeah sure why not. Kp3 or a story pack would be great. Kinda like KI for the seasons we do packs for MK.

They said they were going to support this game so why not go a step further.

I'd be down for a kp3. Just can the guest characters, and throw in some mk characters. Maybe three classic characters, and a new one? That would be dope.

I would honestly prefer Injustice 2 over a KP3. I feel NRS made some mistakes with MKX that they could fix with Injustice 2. Things like a better story, no pre-order bonus shenanigans, proper challenges mode, etc.

Not to mention, if a KP3 happen it would probably just be more of the same: 2 guests no one wanted, 1 oddball MK character, 1 some-what requested MK character.

Plus, I would just like to see the return of Injustice. I really liked that game so I've been excited to see the sequel.

EDIT: I would also like to see Injustice 2 having a proper "Seasons" model.

I can't even believe this is even being mentioned. The game just came out! Why even talk about a new game. smh. I say to hell with a new game and give us KP3 that includes Noob Saibot, Revenant Shao Kahn, Sindel, Shang Tsung, Havik, and Lucian from Underworld as DLC with 3 new maps and skins.Then MKXL will cause all hell to break loose and become the best fight game on the planet.

If they want to be a serious fighting game then yeah they should be doing everything they can to continue to support it.

Adding on characters is one great way to do that and more people would be likely to buy a new character than a skin pack. I personally would love a KP3 that includes Reiko and Havik with possibly Sareena and Fujin as well. I also would love a free (for people who have bought MKX -first pressing- and all of the DLC so far) pack with Sindel, Rain and Baraka (Alien complicates this I know).

I also 100% would not mind it if only the MK DLC characters got an additional skin while the guests don't (Did Kratos have one? I didn't pay attention to him in MK2011).

That's their own damn fault for being idiots and expecting everything not explicitly mentioned in the KP to be included.

Seasons change, there should be more than one. Besides, Kombat Pack was distinctly called that and not a Season Pass and it even excludes two skin packs and a character from it.

I'd love to see a kp3. Or maybe a new character here and there for $4.99 or something. I'd love to pay NRS for Noob! But no more guest characters though. Mainly I just want this game to last as long as possible. I just now got in to the online scene with the new patch and I'm loving it. I got in to MK9 pretty much after the game died off and regretted it. Now, I'd like to see MK thrive for a very long time.

If there is a KP3 it would have to be free via a update (Komplete edition and all). And even though I love Jason and Leatherface, no more guests. Four is enough. They could turn no variation Alien into Baraka, no variation Tanya into NPC Tanya, no variation Tremor into Rain and no variation.....um.....somebody into Sindel.

New game isn't going to be released this year so I d like to see KP3 happen this year.

If they follow the sane pattern as previous kombat packs I expect to see.

Slasher horror character (Michael meyers, ghost face , creeper)

Story mode character (frost, fujin, Stryker, sindel, kabal, night wolf)

Sci-fi character ( T-800 or someone else from sci-fi movies)

New MK character that was never playable in any VS game ( khrome)

Edit: I would take Noob over anyone else but I think they ll save him for next game.
