Alright so I've been super busy over the last while but I've finally got all the Glasgow Kombat stuff done from the last two or three months. There haven't been many brackets lately due to lower numbers than usual but that hasn't dampened the hype! Instead of throwing huge buzzword-filled descriptions of what's happened over the last weeks at you I'm just going to let you all enjoy the archives that we managed to get

Quick note: We actually had a new player turn up this week, and he's a friend of @cR Xarakamaka ! He goes by Moukton and plays Shaolin Kung Jin, Venomous D'Vorah and Hish Qu Ten (at least) and although he did end up going 0-2 he put up a good fight! Shame we haven't seen him back since

Glasgow Kombat #13:
1st. Youphemism (Special Forces Sonya / Ancestral Kung Jin)
2nd. Nausea (Spectral Ermac)
3rd. Ricey (Hellfire Scorpion)
Another quick note: We had another new player turn up in the form of stream (and Blood God Kotal Kahn) monster rustyb4nana! He definitely threw a few people off with his tight-knit game but, at least for this week, it wasn't enough. He DID however pull off the Sun Ray brutality at the end of a round against me that caught me off guard, make sure to watch that match!

Glasgow Kombat #14:

In his second week here rustyb4nana managed to scream his way up to top 3! One of our most improved players and personally one of my most nerve-wracking opponents. It's always a close one... Good job!
We also had ANOTHER two new players turn up! IAmWeasel and his friend Christ Killmore managed to head over with confidence they'd do well. Unfortunately they didn't make top 3 but it's rare that anyone does on their first week, let's hope they come back soon and show us up
Hopefully the influx of new players continues with the introduction of Kombat Pack 2 and hopefully we get more that make it back the next week lol.

This week actually saw one of GK's first players return, Esler! He decided to jump in the bracket with his Bojutsu Jin having been out for a while and although he was unsuccessful with his past variation he helped make the bracket a lot of fun.

No bracket for this last week I'm afraid, capture card issues arose unfortunately and we just decided it wasn't worth restarting it over and over. Same reason there's no variations listed, it was so long ago I can't remember lol.
Of course if there are more Scots near enough the Glasgow area reading this that would like to get into competitive MK then feel free to come along and join in! You don't even have to take part in the tournament if you don't want to, you're welcome to come play casuals in MK9, Injustice or MKX with us all night if that's what you prefer. Either way we're to help you out as much as we can, it helps us too Anyone interested in coming along can join the Facebook group here : http://www.facebook.com/groups/GlasgowKombat or those that don't have Facebook can just come visit, we run every Tuesday night at MaxXP Gaming: 29-31 Duke St, Glasgow from 3:30pm to 9:30pm. If you're getting the train go to Glasgow Central then get another to High Street, MaxXP is just round the corner! Entry fee is £3. Tournament signups start at 6pm and the tournament starts at 6:30pm.

So that's all the Glasgow Kombat weeks caught up on now. This coming Tuesday (numbers permitting) will be Glasgow Kombat #16 and the first Glasgow Kombat bracket since KP2's release.....and we're letting them in! Anything goes, any character or variation you like. Feel like melting your opponents health away with Acidic Alien? Want to go crazy with Leatherface? Do you feel the need to fart or vomit as Bo Rai Cho? Ready to represent the Tekunin in kombat? Come along and try your luck against some of the best MK players in Scotland, or even just come along for casuals and to level up and to learn some more about the Kombat Pack 2 characters. That's what we're here for 
Of course if there are more Scots near enough the Glasgow area reading this that would like to get into competitive MK then feel free to come along and join in!
