yes im having crashing in, matches. online is unble to connect to some friends ive never had a problem with on mkx and beta.

and it seemsthe what's nets premeire tower is crashing aftera couple wins. get past bo rai cho and a couple withLF then it crashes.
You know, I also had some trouble with finishing the Leatherface Klassic tower.

Since we're talking about problems we're having. Sometimes my inputs don't work, it's as if there's a bug in the way the game buffers inputs. Quite frustrating mid-match.

Hi all.

Something I encountered twice now during an online precise session with a buddy.

I set my controller so that R1 is block and R2 is interactables (am I the only one who does this?)

Anyways what happened is my buddy (player 1) went into the moves list to check frame data which also displayed on my screen, then once he exited the menu to continue playing, my controls went to default! Meaning R1 became interactables and R2 block.

This happened twice and there's no way to pick your controllers assignment during practice. My buttons were fine up until this moment and he's gone into the menu a few times.

Anyone else experience this?
Yes. I experienced this many times and posted above so just wanna bump it again in case anyone else has this problem.

Also, another thing I encountered today that I think someone else mentioned.

I was in a KOTH and had a 11 win streak going with 0 losses. When I did lose it said I lost 2 games when that wasn't true.

Say I'm in a lobby and get challenged to versus and we run some sets. The opponent will hover over rematch, move down to "select new fighter" and then over "quit", but back up to rematch. They'll hit rematch and it says "rematching" on screen, but then the game ends and says "your opponent has left the game"

How is this possible? There is no long delay indicating they pulled the plug so it's a bit weird unless they're doing some sort of trick.

I initialized my ps4 deleted everything and still doesn't work fuck this game I'm tired of the bullshit. I can't even go into training without the glitches happening. Either they better patch this fast or they better give me a new game cause I wouldn't even downloaded it if that's the case

lol the opponent meant to quit and accidently hit rematch. Went to the homescreen and closed the game.

I have fully initialized my ps4 and deleted all my save files as well. The major issue for me is that the game crashes with error ce -34878-0 when playing classic towers, this started happening after the compatibility patch and as soon as I started using the new characters. I will not reinstall the game until there is a patch that fixes the crash issue. The ce- 34878-0 error means corrupted data . I believe NRS are going to fix this like they did at launch but until then the game is pretty much unplayable for me.

I think I can explain this. After a match if you are the challenger, you will have 4 options (rematch, select character, find another opponent, quit to main menu). If you are the one being challenged, you only have 3 options on 'your side' (rematch, select character and quit to main menu).

So when they move down 3 times to select quit to main menu, it looks like the cursor loops back around to 'rematch' on your screen however, they are actually selecting quit to main menu.

Does this make sense? Don't know why the devs never caught this during testing.

That makes sense actually. Never thought of that before or have it even cross my mind. It would be nice to have it addressed even tho I'll know this for next time.

i nnoticed this as well. some time the input doesn't come out, during jitter

- Kenshi's Possessed-specific brutality now leaves one half of the opponent's body floating in the air. Obviously a bug (albeit a funny one).

- Using Ermac's hover in all variations seems to permanently leave the camera zoomed out a bit, in practice mode at least. The only way to fix this is to go back to player select.

Random stages the camera goes a bit crazy for the rest of the match after a d2 or other moves that puts your high up in the air. I'm sure this has already been mentioned but man it makes for some motion sickness inducing games.

I keep getting crashes on Xbox One, while doing the towers for the new characters. I played as Bo Rai Cho, once I got to Shinnok, it will play his intro and as soon as the black cloud appears around Shinnok the game freezes and crashes. I tested this out 3 times, and happened every time I got to him.

Another incident happened when I was doing the Who's Next premier tower on the 9th or 10th character using Triborg and performing a brutality.

Since the update I've had at least around 8 crashes, all involving moving up the tower ladders.

I've poured in hours into training and Single player vs cpu matches, and never got a single freeze / crash.

I hope this gets fixed soon because it's practically game breaking at this point.

After the patch and having bought KP2, the game crashes with error ce -34878-0 when playing classic towers. I have now fully initialized my ps4 and deleted all save data as well. It is definitely a bug that came with the latest update for KP2, it is not hardware related! I will not reinstall the game until NRS patches it, like they did at launch when the game suffered from the same crash-error CE-34878-0. Anyone having crash issues should report the problem to WB support page and to NRS twitter account.

I've been having issues with special cancels not coming out and it's really fucked me at times.

Yeah, I posted this video I made in another thread back in December.


In that thread, @Braindead posted a video from, I think it was @Mikemetroid , regarding Johnny Cage shortly after launch last year; same deal with his nut punches.

So it does seem to be a thing.

I still drop Fans all the time in combos as the Princess.

And you Glasgow boys need to upload more of your locals; it's been a bit and I have less to watch on my lunch breaks ;).

Edit: And I just saw you guys did upload more vids, so I've got some watching to do!

ive never had this problem on the Beta or normal game!

Aren't you stopping short of a quarter circle in the video though? The input notation doesn't show forward. Or are you saying that you definitely are doing qc motions and the game isn't recognizing them? I haven't encountered this myself, but I always play on stick. Haven't noticed any dropped inputs online either (not discrediting your issues).

The second one. That's why I kept showing me doing Specials from neutral to show that I'm not dumb enough to _not_ know how to do a QC ;). That's also why I started off showing MK9 to show it works fine there.

But when you special cancel in MKX, the game doesn't always seem to recognize the QC. But it's not consistent and is weird. Basically instead of QC I'm now tapping my inputs, making sure I hit D, then F to drop less. Works, but old habits like doing QC's die hard.

I have footage of me doing clean input and it just not working at all. It's very frustrating.

Yeah, it is frustrating. I'm playing on PC, so no XL for me, but the issue is with the base game.

At this point, I've simply accepted it and have tried to adjust to the best of my ability, and try not to get salty when I drop stuff. Unless I drop something due to my own error, which absolutely happens and is completely on me.

There is no change to the input system in XL. In the thread for that Kitana video I posted this.

there is a leniency to special move inputs that can make the log appear misleading. in this instance you pressed down, then down/forward, then 1 and back close enough together that it is read as down, back, 1 and does lift.



Mike Metroid's complaint was that you cannot do an input short cut as a special cancel. For example outside a combo Kitana can do d,d/f+1 and fan toss will come out. However as a special cancel she must have the f input. This is expected behavior.
