Let me reiterate just so all of you fucking turds that are blowing this out of proportion can relate some what. I disagree with the damage nerf, i disagree that his ex hat is plus 7 but we still have the push back, i think his j2 is fine now, i think that he's still really fucking solid we just have to think more after starting our pressure. We have no real mix ups I guess you can say. Just fucking practice it and adapt a new plan. There's so many fucking situations with the character now that makes us think MORE which in the long run is honestly fine.

The rune nerf would hurt Quan a LOT more than low bat becoming mid so that comparison doesn't really work.

Most characters need to spend a bar to beat 32%, so the close to 1:1 ratio does apply in a lot of match ups.

In any case, it's still a much better situation than most characters in this game. It's not tremor levels of stupid, but it's pretty good.

I don't know if it's just a lucky coincidence for me, but with the exception of Shinnok, no character I've played has had trouble accumulating >30% on a meterless punish BNB. Obviously that's still quite a bit behind say, MK9's average meterless punishes, but I'd say there's more than enough on the table to put Lao on the backfoot on an EX spin read.

Kung Lao may still be viable in certain MUs only, It's terrible against certain characters like Kitana. it's probably 8-2 or 9-1 vs Kitana now

Edit: And guess who play Kitana? That's right the most successful player for the past couple of years who knows the KL MU like the palm of his hand, he also attempt every major tournament
