Pardon me if there is a post already made for this and I have overlooked it or if I have posted in the wrong section, but I was wondering if there was any tournaments or good players to play casuals with here and there in South Carolina. Preferably in the Myrtle Beach area, but I can travel if I have to. Please let me know! So far I have yet to meet anyone except some average players on my college campus.

I've tried to google to see if any events and I couldn't find anything but "MKX Lincoln car" stuff sadly.. I found a facebook fighting page but their near Hilton Head

Same here. I even called a few arcades and they said that they don't do anything like that. The only tournament locally Ive been to was one at my university when we held a LAN party.

Knowing how big Myrtle beach is and the popularity you'd think some events would be here.. It sucks

This is how south Carolina builds a scene, through a couple of people with a passion for the game, keep trying, encourage others, also @GuerillaTactix and @Spencer are both from south Carolina too if I recall correctly. So yeah, build that scene help this game grow!

Yeah I'm in charleston. It's gunna take a local tourney or something to make me travel more than 40 mins at this point.

I moved from Columbia to the Spartanburg area recently. If anyone in the upstate ever wants to get some games in hit me up. I play on xbox but could get a converter. I lurk the SC fighting game facebook group but I rarely see MKX included at locals.
