Is there any MKX scene or players on the west slope of Colorado? Really hoping to find people with an online rank of around 500 or less. I love my friends but they can't even come close to hurting my main and I'm always doing random select. I'm in GJ

It's your job to help them level up. Host casuals every week, multiple days out of the week if possible. And don't pay attention to ranks, that's deceiving.

As vidal said, 2 things, rank doesn't matter at all, and you should help your friends level up so that they can be a similar skill level to you, if you want a scene, you make one, teach your friends, give them incentives to get better, have fun, etc. But then again not any scene can be as blessed to have as awesome of a teacher and a host as @Airvidal who honestly anyone trying to build a scent should role model after. Be inviting, be supportive, be a teacher, etc. Even though I can body him free

All's been said. Be glad you have people interested in the game and fix their game instead of calling them out on not being on your level. You WANT them to get BETTER than you are because that is how you pull each other up to the level of other, more experienced scenes.

I know :( but this guy has the key ingredient, people who are interested in the game! Which both of us can't say for our cities :( since in Santa Barbara it is the same story as your city

I want to like your post but it makes me sad. But i agree. :( maybe one day
I honestly doubt Santa Barbara will EVER have any interest in mkx, hell when I talk to people about how I play competitive mk they immediately ask "so you know all fatalities by heart?" And then I face palm

Yeah I don't like competitive smash, hell I'm willing to drive all the way to LA just to go to MKX locals, and I'm okay with that. I just can't get into playing competitive Smash, not because it is "too hard" but because it will ruin the game for me, I like to treat smash as a fun party game. I am just average at Smash, and I'm okay with that, that is the skill level I want to be. I want to focus my competitiveness for a game that I truly love playing competitively, nether realm games are essentially my calling. I love the mechanics, I love the community (even if it is a bit dodgy at times) and most of all, I love the games. And 2015 was one of the best years of my life simply because of the competitive scene, and this has become the best hobby on earth for me. And the socal scene is the best mk scene out there. Without a single doubt in my mind, I love this community, I love this game, and no other style of game can do the same for me.

I live in greeley. I've actually stopped playing the game for a solid month because of online and no local scene so I'm a very rusty but I would gladly start playing again.
