I was wondering this for a while but...


In the beginning of the game, why do those people kill everyone in the Vault but leave you alive??? I understand the child getting kidnapped is for story purposes, but is there anything I missed in the beginning that explains why they were literally killing everyone but left the Sole Survivor alone??? Or is this some ridiculous plot hole lol.

How far into the main quest line are you?

It's such a small thing but I really like that you can rename weapons and gear in this game.

P.S. Holy shit that knife feels broken, happened to have a special bleed effect and then I put the serrated mod on it to cause even more bleed. Fuckheads drip dry within seconds.

I actually just took a break from leveling and tried focusing on building for a few hours. It was kinda boring, but I have a settlement now.

Now, back to running for my life and killing stuff. That's where this game shines.

just finished walling off sanctuary (feels good man) am very slowly creepin my way down the map , has anyone gone back to vault 111 to get the cryo gun its pretty bad ass like a shotty that freezes , also when dogmeat does his lunge attack they just break into pieces lol .. im pretty much saving all my building material for this fort i keep hearing so much about

I usually always go with the Brotherhood in Fallout games. mr. House in New Vegas wanted me to blow them up so I was in a jam, but found a way to manipulate the situation and keep Veronica. A lot of times with the BoS-

You get good tech shit with them. Exclusive shit. I knew SOMETHING great would come of it, but had no idea it was this lololol! It's going to be hard for something to top this as a reward in the game. So happy I went straight to the BoS first.

Life tribulations. I only have so much time to play F4 and MKX (only two games I'm playing), with my woman being so time demanding on top of being an accountant for PWC. Weekly restaurants, shopping, theater, etc combined with sporadic heavy work days/weeks is death lol. I have to binge play to keep up. Massive amounts of hours for a couple of days, then like 2 hours total for the next 3 days lol.

Stuff near the glowing sea is absolutely brutal. My 64 dmg 50. cal sniper did half life on a gunner private in vats.

Beats me. But the guy said something about at least them still having you left. I don't think they would have killed your spouse if they had just given up the kiddo.

They may have died accidently, just like you get unthawed accidently. I'm wondering how long you get frozen again after you see him taken.

Nah I don't think so. In the beginning when you walk past the other chambers some have bullet holes in their head. Some have cracked chambers and stuff. But then yours is just perfectly left in tact to come out and explore lol. Haven't done much of any of the main story but just thought it was pretty absurd.

Got the Castle now. Haven't built it up or anything. Still haven't made it to Salem. I keep getting distracted. Lv18 I think.

You can just tell Dogmeat to look for items by the Cryo Gun in 111 and he'll slip it out for you.
