This dream has a sad ending
The only character I could play properly in Tekken was Lili, lets hope she's top tier:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Not sure about s-tier but she's at least a+, she does kazuya damage

Nice, because with the current roster, she'll be one of my chics for sure. I'll mess with her a little regardless of any new additions but for now, It's lookin like her Ling, Josie and maybe some Kazumi. Damn I need a Chang announcement already, or a fly new tech chic.

Good luck at your T7 tourney tomorrow.
Josie is still pretty good, she gave me trouble and ling is s-tier because she's now "evasive" again because fuck fox step

@WidowPuppy new waifu? From the first chick and Jacqui, to Laura and who I recently discovered to be Leticia Bufoni. I appreciate the dedication to cohesiveness of Waifu.

Oh and now I regret not sticking with learning lili in T6 and TTT2. Dammit

Since we can't play T7 just yet, we're extremely hype for it, so its time to polish mishima skills while we wait, well i'm jin main, just trying to picture myself playing T7 jin, i wonder how well will i adapt to the changes once i get my hands on him

2H matches, hope you guys like it: @Widow Puppy, @SaltShaker @vegeta

To those wondering where the hell is Kuni, well this is Smith's PS3, he doesn't have Kuni because he didn't bought a sealed Copy of TTT2, but i sold my PS3 to my uncle along with my tekken, i will see if i can borrow a COD game for PS4 so i can exchange consoles with him for a week, in order to play Kuni again, and my Kuni is just as crazy as my jin is, perhaps way crazier.

Hoping she makes it to the final version of T7 honestly, that kunoichi is cray.
I'm not so much excited for it now as more irritated/frustrated at the wait and realizing we will be behind asia yet again when it comes out. My hype died a while ago due to this. It's getting old having to wait for this series to always release games. I'll probably be at least pleased when it comes out and get down to business.

Still time for you to learn Lili in T6 & or TTT2 Buya, a shitload of time unfortunately.

And yes... my waifu limit knows no boundaries, but Leticia has earned a place in my heart along with the title of #1 waifu. She is absolutely adorable, skilled as fuck and killin shit right now [X-Games, SLS, Etc...]

Well I mean it turned me off to it in T6 where we waited 2 years to have it come out here. Think about that. TWO years and a year and a half of that was us watching everyone else play it. This is turning out to be the same. Then they keep giving us crap like "that's how it's always worked before" yeah well get with the times. Namco doesn't know how to keep momentum so to speak. Look at SFV. announced After T7 comes out before it and we had 2 of 3 beta tests so far. That's awesome. T7 oh an announcement trailer for console with no release date. We already knew it was coming to console....we wanna know WHEN. Using a way outdated business model. On top of that all the big money and events and tournaments now involve T7 and a lot of T7 is replacing TTT2 as far as tournaments go. Like EVO. the main game was T7 and likely will be again................but how the hell can we win at it if I don't have it to practice. It's stupid. That's like if they announced Injustice 2 or MKXI and said...........oh you guys don't get a console release but it's gonna replace MKX at EVO this year. wtf. That doesn't piss you off? By the time T7 comes out it'll already be "dying" like everywhere else and when we hit our Apex here it'll be "old" because T8 will be announced. It's the dumbest thing I've ever been through. Sometimes it sucks being a Tekken main.

I've always been a Skater fan, since Tony Hawk and Rodney Mullen, i just didn't becomed a Skater because on my time, finding a board it was stupid hard, me and a selective group of friend would actually be the first Skateboard generation if we managed to find a Skate.

Few years later practicing Martial Arts and then i turned to be a Tricker, me and my friends are the first Hard Core tricking generation in Angola, after us there is no one else, by the time these yong ppl and kids realize what a sampler, gathering is, i've already done all of it, with my friends.

One of my youngest 4 brothers, played Tony Hawk (As i did) and lucky him, boards earned a marketing bussiness here, and a Skate park was built for it, so he is basically the Skater in the family, but i'm not sure if he knows Leticia, since she Speaks portuguese, during Skate torunaments its likely she will drop by, if i manage to find out, i will use my brother skating influence to take pic with her just for you bruh!.

I used to skate when I was a kid [like 14-17], never got really good, best trick I could do was a kickflip. But, I've always admired skating, and always loved skating games.

Tricking is sick, highly skilled too. That's pretty sick that you can do that, that's some ninja shit right there.

Yeah, Leticia lives in Cali now but comes home quite often so maybe your bro could get that pic, that would be awesome. Brazil has some of the best Skaters, Luan De Oliveira, Kelvin Hoefler, Leticia...

If your bro never see's Leticia, getting a pic with Luan would be sick! He's at the parks all the time. Or a pick with Monica Torres, she's an up and coming skater, she's cute as fuck though and pretty funny.

We could be waiting a while for that. :( I hear you though... My 360 does not have an HDMI port or connect to my new monitor, so I have it hooked up to my old TV across the room. It doesn't even reach the internet connect, so I just fuck around in the lab if anything. And my damn 360 sounds like a race car [Too fucking loud, it's annoying], lol.

@Eddy Wang Watching your Jin/Kaz VS Hei/AK set. Looks like your KBDC/Wavedashing practice has paid off, great spacing and whiff punishing. Those Electrics are on point too, scary Jin [Fuck that Jin parry, lol. Is it even whiff punishable?] Looks like I'm in for some serious learning slash getting bodied by you guys when T7 arrives in late 2018. You mofos know all the highs in strings to duck and all the lows in strings to block. Kinda wish I had played Tekken way back when to now.

Quite the dilemma... Don't know whether to watch T7 vids/Green stream to learn stuff and have T7 feel old on day one... or to not watch and get wrecked in situations that I could know by the time I play.

Damn you Namco! Why you do dis? :(

The parry if whiff punishable if it doesn't parry anything at all since it also gives him frame advantage on when successful, but you need to bait it out or predicting, reacting to a whiffed parry out of the blue might not be a good idea, due his magic 4 that crumple stuns on CH.

Jin parry works as it follows( my own judgement):
Whiffed: can be launch punishable by electrics so its around -15 or -14 if it whiffs

Any move in the game parried will be converted to its original animation if it whiffs, so:
-10 go to -13 (hop kick launch punishable)
- 7 go to -10 (1,2 or 2,4 punishable)
-5 go to - 8 (2,4 only punishable)
-12 go to -15 or worse which is already launch punishable by D+3+4
-13 go to launch punishable attacks
-14 go to launch punishable moves: At this point in T7 getting EWHF to punish will start to be a thing

Leaping kicks will be heavily launch punishable by jin alone due his parry
Wakeup mid kicks in T7 is launch punishable by 14f launchers if jin parry them (ewhf, d+3+4, and hop kicks), in TTT2 these are safe to d+3+4, but still he manage to punish with 2,4 string which is a 8f startup.

There were moments on that vid, where i calculated a wakeup mid kick, so i countered with ewhf to launch them, but Smith stays grounded for little while which allows him to attempt to whiff punish with wakeup mid kick afterwards, i parry the mid kick after just whiffing my electric and punish him with 2,4 instead. Its awesome, and i understand its really annoying.

But IMO, when you fight someone with overwhelming pressure tools, massive blockstun attacks that will allow them to start mixups, its when you should start to parry those heavy attacks, and sharpen your eyes to low parry, it makes jin offense game so effective, that in many cases they won't know what to hit you with.

Been on the opposite end of this, my training partner in TTT2 mained Jin and was really good with the parry. Did seem hard to punish it on reaction, but... I was playing on a laggy monitor.

Now he's buffed in T7 and will surely give me nightmares, lol.

yeah, better prepare the salt gates, I know in T7 every character is stupid, but tekken its not really much about the character, its more about the one playing the character in general.

For example, I call Cherryberrymango, Orenge and Knee the 3 mosquiteers of Jin Kazama in T7, each one is really strong at one specific thing with the character in general, but there are areas where each one feels lacking.

Knee:
+ amazing Spacing
+ great execution
+ great conversions only from magic 4
+ 9f grab spammer
- does not mixup as much
- does not set it up as much
- doesn't move around as much
EWHF BnB Trademark: EWHF, run WHF, B3~f~1, B3~f~1,3 (very corner carry, and 45% closely 50% damage without a wall
Personal favotire BnB: CH4, B21, 4!, Run, B3~f~12
Type of play: Up close battle

Cherryberrymango
+ Amazing combo potencial, best jin the department, best combo fillers midscreen and very damaging
+ Very good setups to catch ppl in any type of CH he manages to get
+ very mobile jin
+ has CH setups in neutral, which allows him to get in due the ewhf into f4~zan cancel pressure which leads to a very damaging combo on ch with a guaranteed hit post knockdown
+ The best conversions ever, can combo even from a wakeup 3 every single time its a clean counter hit
+ stance user
- Rarely uses parry
- takes a lot of unecessary risks when using oki setups or stances
- doesn't throw as much
- some sort of lack in fundamentals, he keeps going for the same risks many times
EWHF BnB signature: EWHF, Zan~3, B3~f~1, B3~f~1,2 (Very corner Carry, probably same damage as knee's combo but much easier)
Personal favotire BnB: wakeup clean low kick, WS4, 4!, run, B3~f~1,2 or Zan~4 (up close), WS4, 4! run, d/b2,3
Type of play: Risky rushdown

Orenge
+ Strongest Fundamentals based jin i ever saw
+ amazing footsies and space control like any other, he can just sit there and wait to get a punish or counter
+ Knows when to use Hop kicks, CH hits it even scares
+ Can make capitalized reads (he can gather a lot of information and beat out your counters for a clean perfect giving you chance to fight back)
+ amazing opportunity taker, capable of using guaranteed hit post knockdown from very different setups, CBM only does from 1 setup
+ Execution master and rarely misses his punishes
- Ocasionally uses parry
- In long sets he tends to lose lots of games before reajusting
- Very bad combo potential aside from WS2 i believe Orenge doesn't only wins more because he doesn't do as much as combos CBM and Knee does.
EWHF BnB signature: EWHF, run, bf21, run bf2, B3~f~1,2 (not as damaging as CBM and knee's combo, less corner carry
Personal favotire BnB: WS2, EWHF, 4!, Zan~3, B3~f~1,2 (this is orenge most damaging combo)
Type of play: Footsies

I've already decided to get the best of each one of them and merge with my jin who enjoys parry so much, so i intend to have the most complete Jin of them all.

Sadly Hao is not playing Jin in T7, ppl sais his Jin was godlike in TTT2

Seems like you're learning a lot just watching T7 sets. Damn... don't won't to watch a game years before I get to play it but, I might have to.

Seems like you're learning a lot just watching T7 sets. Damn... don't won't to watch a game years before I get to play it but, I might have to.
I believe i have enough data on Jin already, now all i can do is pray for a much earlier release of the game so i can enjoy it.

My eyes now turned its attention to King, and possibly Bryan. But in general my goal is to watch the characters that annoys me the most and see how are they beaten or used, because i might actually not go to evo to compete when T7 comes out, but i do have my own nemesis in my country.

I have a Lili player who came from the competitive UK scene, he was part of the Luna's group, Guillen is what we call him now.
Ivo, a JDCR type of player (learns the entire T7 command list so he can easely counter pick you and keep winning easely)
Smith
Uncle Kick, who mains Feng, Baek and Bryan
Uncle Punch, who mains Bryan, Bruce and Paul
Leo Dizi (it reads Dizzy) who mains Law, King and Hwoarang
Mirelson XP who mains Bryan, Bruce and Devil Jin
Dizi's training partner who mains Azuka and is stupidly annoying
Rolf who mains Paul

So when T7 comes out, might actually be dead in Asia, i won't give much of a fuck, none of us has a chance to play this early, but our scene will still be strong here, i know because it was on TTT2, we just didn't run many tournaments because we didn't feel like it, but we played a lot.Every single person i mentioned in there, few are very high level players, if you think i'm strong, I have to tell you, Guillen and Ivo are far more experienced in tekken than myself and Smith, Smith mains much more characters than i am.

Dizi put me on the losers bracket first round on my first and only TTT2 tournament.
Almost lost to Dizi's Partner
If Ivo was on that tournament, he would probably win

So i'm just preparing my ground, not for a overseas competition, but local, so besides Jin, i have a few characters in mind to learn, so since i've lost T6 in the competitive scene, the updated move list was too much to keep up, i ended up sticking only with Jin.

But my character build from T5 were much bigger, i used to know : Hwoarang, Bryan, King, Yoshi, Jin, Xiaoyu, Devil jin, Law, Raven, Feng, Asuka, Baek and my T5 favorite Bruce, that tony jaa outfit was so cool.

In T6 i didn't played as much, so i learned only jin, the other ones were too much to keep it up because TTT2 was already on the way.
On TTT2 the commands were also much bigger, so never really went into learn all of them again because they felt so different, i didn't went through t6 meta so i didn't knew the reason of so many changes.

Going to T7, i will go with a few characters as well, Michelle (or T6 Julia), Kazuya, Jin, Kuni, might actually learn Bryan and King again, and maybe Hwoarang too.

So in T7 i'm getting my hopes up for Julia, and #ninjabitches to make their return, if they do, those will be insta mains.
