What?? No. Noooo. No way. They are actually advertising and promoting the old shit from last game??? Wow. Half of that stuff was from Tekken 6 which was carried over to TTT2 in the first place. Actually T6 had the best customization and also the biggest in the series. Wow. Way to take a step forward... -.-

They seriously better have some new stuff in store or it will be a disgrace lol.

T6 customs were pretty good. Lots of variables to edit. Meanwhile in tag2 if I want to buy a dope ass shirt it comes with ugly gloves or something. Between arcade and console they messed up DVJ as anything equipped on upper body seemingly doesn't let you change his glove color.

F all that gimme SCIV and SCV customization. Same company. C'mon. Too good.

Also, I was able to make plenty of nice costumes for my characters in TTT2 that I liked, unfortunately I took these pictures in like 2011-2012 on a camera phone...







I wish I had a pick of the costumes I had on slim bob and Marduk, because those were fucking tight.

Heihachi with Jin bangs, a powder pink tuxedo, and a flower bouquet with the pink heart background was also probably my favorite.

All of that said, it was still super limited and I hope they add a lot of new and fun stuff to work with.

And hopefully they get rid of that bullshit item compounding, where you could only where certain gloves when you pick a certain shirt, and picking a pair of pants forces you to wear a certain pair of shoes with no choice.

On a related note, one of my highest win rates was with Violet + Lee in TTT2, even though I was absolute horse shit with either of them solo or paired with other people. Funny how that works, huh?

What everyone says when they get a chance to be "creative". Same thing happened the moment CoD released an emblem editor.

But really though I just stuck to Tops and Bottoms. Too much work for me to make a cool decal, I want to fish for somersault combos. Or mash d/b3 then, when they least expect it, ff2+3.

If they change anything I hope we get more control over the costumes. Someone mentioned that gloves and shit gets locked and that's just annoying. Put in all that effort and then come to find out all that time is wasted because your blue battle fist HAS to have red gloves.

Or when items have no color options . . . WTF

I can live with bamboo sticks, frying pans, and birds' nest hats. . . . . thought it was funny

These two things really stand out. SSS Tier? Seriously? That would mean King 7-3s, 8-2's, and 9-1's the entire cast on floor break stages to be considered SSS Tier. Sounds more like saltiness than it actually being true lol. And Claudio isn't simple to use? A monkey with no eyes could use Claudio if you put a controller in his hands.

Those two things stood out as incredibly absurd. They make no sense. I guess the rest can be a matter of opinion but those two points are nonsense.

If you've played doa at all you'll understand that a few characters get a really unfair advantage on certain stages, leon in home has a kill set up and Rachel on the lab get 40 extra damage per combo off a throw starter. Characters who have ceiling throws on ceiling stages becomes disgusting and ect.

Also claudio seems like he need finesse in order to use him properly especially getting starburst off(you played the game, i didn't) and when gets that, that's when he starts becoming scary

Harada is against that, it will be in game but you have to play the game and get in game currency

Nah never got into DOA so can't say I know anything about it, but I'll go out on a limb and say there is no way King is "SSS Tier" on heavy breaking stages. SSS Tier is literally "game breaking tier" where you'd be lucky to find a 7-3. His overall toolset doesn't allow him to be that good. He's likely better on different stages, but no way some unbeatable God depending on stage.

Claudio I agree is good and tough to deal with at times. Only thing I disagree with is the difficulty described. Literally the first day you play you'll do his BnB's in about 3 minutes, and his gameplan/strategy is as easy and straight forward as you'll see in a Tekken character. Starburst for example you can get off guaranteed, easily, by using certain strings that are also great strings so it's never difficult to use it as say getting out Sonya Drones safely consistently. No execution required whatsoever with one of the easiest gameplans to execute. Out of the entire cast the only character easier to use is possibly Katarina or Shaheen, coincidentally new characters as well lol.

How often did characters join the T7 cast after arcade release?

If 8 (random number) more characters are supposed to join Tekken 7, then couldn't console release be right after that? Like how Capcom been revealing a character per month-ish. I feel like if more characters started around christmas then we could see the console version by Dec 2016. What else would they add besides costumes and characters which they are already doing? (Praying it's T6 tekken force and all those minigames. Tekken ball EVO hype!)

MBC is probably the best king in the world right now, he has been on a rampage these past weeks, i can say this was his month, damn.

You can't just do Random shit against him. King too Stronk, i believe if T7 was a NRS game the salt king brings would definitely put him under the nerf scope.

MBC (Best King in Korea right now) vs Orenge (best Jin player in Korea, Cherryberrymango isin't far behind, but i got words that Orenge is the #1)

I've been watching a lot of MBC rampage lately, he bodied Help me, faced JDCR and almost had it, he is probably the one who induced salt into Knee "The King is triple S tier argument" guy has been krazy

On the other Hand, Orenge has been pretty consistent as well, he isn't such a tech dependant, so he doesn't play much a setup based Jin as Cherryberrymango does, he is the guy with the fundamentals, extremely solid, he loses a lot in the first matches, then he gets his grip and destroy his opponents, guy is awesome, i watched half of this video and he has only won 2 so far.

This dream has a sad ending
I have played tekken 7 and i have fell utterly in love with that game. That game is extremely fluid and even more so then a regular tekken, it's gorgeous and every character has become fair gotten the nerfs/buffs they deserved.

Shaneen is magic 4 the character, and it's so utterly stupid that 4,1 is just -1 but he doesn't feel vanilla bob levels of stupid but i hope this gets nerfed to at least -3 for a ch launcher starter. -1 is too stupid and in laggy connections i know that's gonna turn into +1 or +2

While the floor oki have been nerfed the wall is worse now due to ss being nerfed. I got cornered by asuka and shit was fucking terrifying which makes you want to even more apparent of neutral and all combos now lead to wall carry.

Fuck the temple stage, king is actually amazing on that stage. Kazuya's b+4 is annoying.

Claudio is fucking terrifying with d+2,2 especially since he can cancel into a quick uppercut, that mix-up is disgusting and Lili feels really top tier :)

all in all, i had an amazing amount of fun and have a t7 tournament tomorrow n__n

Why is everyone calling Shaheem's 4,1 string "magic 4"?

Its it because it happens so fast? I've been reading Jin's "Magic 4" as well, so can only assume is the same thing.

Nice, because with the current roster, she'll be one of my chics for sure. I'll mess with her a little regardless of any new additions but for now, It's lookin like her Ling, Josie and maybe some Kazumi. Damn I need a Chang announcement already, or a fly new tech chic.

Since we can't play T7 just yet, we're extremely hype for it, so its time to polish mishima skills while we wait, well i'm jin main, just trying to picture myself playing T7 jin, i wonder how well will i adapt to the changes once i get my hands on him

To those wondering where the hell is Kuni, well this is Smith's PS3, he doesn't have Kuni because he didn't bought a sealed Copy of TTT2, but i sold my PS3 to my uncle along with my tekken, i will see if i can borrow a COD game for PS4 so i can exchange consoles with him for a week, in order to play Kuni again, and my Kuni is just as crazy as my jin is, perhaps way crazier.

Hoping she makes it to the final version of T7 honestly, that kunoichi is cray.
