If that ever happened, this would be the last thing anyone in the area would ever see:Someone start a fundraiser for a room for cossner and coolwhip.
This. This one move alone makes me so salty when fighting Tremor. If overhead rock went away on hit Tremor would be perfect
I'm gonna come right out and say that I find tier lists to be highly irrelevant in this game. There's only one viable playstyle in MKX and that's pressure. There are only two tiers in this game and that's the poorly designed top tiers and the inadequate by comparison rest of the roster.
NRS has balanced a game around offensive momentum alone, and any character that deviates from this principle gets snuffed.
YOMI realized this quicker than most and proceeded to stack every tournament possible and now where stuck watching Predator vs Quan Chi and Tanya v Kung Lao at every major for finals---- am is supposed to be hype for a Top 8 that's literally "5 YOMI and 2 other people?" hey look guys I found a typo. Looks like my opinion's irrelevant now.
We have zoning variations that can't even zone at the same time that we have pressure/mixup variations that zone as a bonus.
NRS design choices baffle me. Why they decided a character with absurd chip, stupid jump-ins, near constant pressure, high damage out put, a dive kick, and a teleport for good measure ALSO needed the best anti-air in the game is a complete and infuriating mystery.
I suppose it's fun though, right?
I know people nitpicked the shit out of your posts, and while I think you're probably taking this all a bit too seriously (especially other peoples' negativity), I still agree with the gist of statements. I especially agree with your point about pressure characters. Sure, some of these characters can zone, but the point is that pressure is a playstyle that dominates in this game. If you can't deal with the pressure or speed of other characters, then you're automatically at the bottom of the tier list. I'll also never really understand why people care enough to critique certain points (i.e. Pred vs. Quan NEVER HAPPENED NUH UH FUCK ALL YOUR POINTS AND IDEAS BECAUSE OF THIS DETAIL). I get you, man. I was there in person to witness the great CEO Tanya-thon. I've watched the rise of YOMI at majors from their early days until now. I've seen the devastation. I'm equally bored and frustrated by all of it, too. Don't think you're the only one. The reason why you're not hearing people agree with you, is because most of the people who feel this way have left to do other things with their time (myself included). I only really play Alpha 3 and 3S when I go to the arcade. I guess my opinions are irrelevant, too. I only came here to read the comments and see what the current meta is - glad to know it's all still poop.I suppose time alone will answer how this game pans out. But right now I'm equally bored and frustrated by it all.
100% agreed.I disagree, with no mid the only thing you have to respect him for is a rock. The air groundpound is sort of a thing I suppose, but its nothing thats a real threat just something to cause a bit of annoyance.
I believe Tremor in this game will ultimately have similar issues MK9 Jax had. On paper they both have good normals, but in practice you can kill them for trying to use them.
tremors db2u is not 9 frames.Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't he have a 9f armored launcher?
not mean this to sound smart at all but whats not to know?Tremor is way better than that. People don't know about Metallic yet.
spread the knowledge man@A F0xy Grampa We need to play more games I've found ways to make you respect Tremor more now and I want to test how it will work out. So far its worked well.
We'll have to agree to disagree I guess. I named like 5 options he can use in footsies to get him in and I think they are all perfectly viable to use.I disagree, with no mid the only thing you have to respect him for is a rock. The air groundpound is sort of a thing I suppose, but its nothing thats a real threat just something to cause a bit of annoyance.

She's actually very good, don't get us wrong. So, why isnt Mournful S tier? Im honestly curious because i have next to no knowledge of the character, and would like to know Kitana players deal with it, But all ive seen from this thread is "LOL NO!" and meme pics
yeah or they either up play her (cd jr) or they down play her (yomi) shes solid A+ to me.Kitana S-Tier?
I didn't post a Gif.... You need to chill man, think you're taking this video game business a little too serious.@GiM | ZigZag Is that suposed to mean something to me? I suppose we can all think we're clever with cute gif reaction to a typo, but if you think Quan Chi, with all the absurd mixup potential he has, damage output, armor rune setups, chip damage setups----- all of which thrive on mixup up an opponent and remaining offensive----- with exceptional zoning as a bonus and the impetus for much of his success SOMEHOW means that this game isn't rewarding offensive momentum almost exclusively that's on you.
I suppose his new D1 haunts my analysis somehow? There's a reason he's widely regarded as one of the best character's in the game and offensive pressure and momentum have everything to do with that.
Now that we're done with the superficial bs, I'd like to have some discussion worthy of my time.
I'm way over it man. Your the one dredging up a conversation that's played itself out already. Balance, tier lists, arguing, stuff---- it was fun while it lasted but I'm kinda tired of talking about it.I didn't post a Gif.... You need to chill man, think you're taking this video game business a little too serious.
Preeety sure b1 was always mid. And the startup on it only went down by 1 frameB1 hitting mid and starting at 9 frames did a lot for him
That's one of the reasons Tremor is so awesome is because each of his variations have really good tools. I'm not claiming Metallic is his best just yet but the meterless damage he has in Lava plus the OTG and a safe low launcher is really solid.not mean this to sound smart at all but whats not to know?
the lava db1 corner restands, that u get different combos with the different launch of db2u, the unbreakables with lava bf4(even though its tad slower in lava), that lava db3 restands if hits opponent in air..
even with the buffs i dunno if gold stance is effective enough to stray from crystalline/aftershock, i do like how you can have a armored ghetto reptile forceball with ex db1 though.
i THINK it was @GGA pimpimjim who said on one of the recent gbs he thinks metallic is tremors best variation when commentaing on a nikolass match (sorry if i got voice wrong)
if im missing something please let me know, atm id rate tremors variations crystalline/aftershock/metallic (i do use metallic the least to be fair though)

It was a high before. 1 frame makes a lot of difference.Preeety sure b1 was always mid. And the startup on it only went down by 1 frame
It was actually a mid lol. It just whiffed before all the time.It was a high before. 1 frame makes a lot of difference.
This much of a difference, in fact:http://www.testyourmight.com/threads/the-post-patch-b1-metagame.55720/
