Online Complains/Rants About Etiquette, Players, Netcode, Desyncs etc!!

This person Iran-84 is ranked #3 on the steam leaderboards because of constant Jacqui spam. I destroyed him with Raiden cause Kitana in this match is super hard. Just as I am about to win he pulls his ethernet in rage because I bodied him. Not the first time this happened where I beat him, this just happens to be the time I have proof. No idea if he has a TYM account but I hate this shit.
I actually start to enjoy these matches now that I know how to get around them. I used to HATE fighting anyone who used Jacqui or the likes to 'spam' their way to victory. I played someone similar over the last couple weeks, who would spam Jacqui, Shinnok and a few others, but I beat him each time and he would rage quit. Makes me laugh. I'll have to post the video to share once I get around to uploading it.

I never fear the players online who's win loss ratio is some ridiculous shit like 5000-900. When I play them it becomes apparent how they got those wins. It's the honest players with even win loss ratios you should be afraid of
Why fear the even win/loss ratios?

Chances are, many of them play/spar with higher level players than themselves. I try to when I can and I'd say my w/l is fairly even.

I've learned this the hard way too, earlier in the game's life. Arrogantly jumping into a match with someone who has even w/l only to have my ass handed to me. Same goes for the reverse. I've mutilated multiple players with ridiculously "good" w/l ratios.

Moral: NEVER underestimate your opponent.

I used to go crazy on neutral because I didn't know better. I play more on defense / safe zoning now and go in as needed for a punish.

Who's your character?

I'm still learning myself. Even though I've been an MK fan since the beginning, MKX is the first game I've ever been into on a competitive level. So it's a continuous live and learn process lol.

Same here my friend. I've played he MK series since the beginning, but this is also my first as a more competitive fighter. My two mains are Ermac and Kitana. I have a bunch of videos I recorded from over a month ago up until now. So many things have changed since. It's nice to see my progression, although I do still slip from time-to-time doing unsafe things.

Yeah it's amazing how much your play improves once you grasp the concepts of the fundamentals. I do the same. Actually went back and watched some older recordings a couple days ago was blown away like, "my god you were foolish". Every single one of my character's specials are unsafe so it's only natural that I take some risks. Sometimes it's a great payoff, sometimes it costs me the match. But that's the name of the game, really lol.

I have a higher than average Win/Loss ratio, but thats because i play tourny players in private.

but generally i have some accounts at 2:1 ratios because of the Lag that is MKX, you know that 4-60 frame lag, where you have no reversal, alsomst everything your opponent does seems safe.

Lately on PC the game has been having random periods of lag where the game will freeze for 1-2 seconds. Annoying as hell.
