Derptile

RIP Ex Smash
So I post on the first page saying most of it is wrong and have my post deleted. Then 8 pages later, changing the thread title, and people doing the exact same thing as me and this thread is not closed.

Edit: It's back now, hehehehehehe. I see you @Espio <3.

Grundy want pants too.
Yeah, but that's all he gets. Besides that stupid 4 second ground shake thingy. In metallic he gets great zoning with gold stance, and in lava stance he gets restands, and his wheel his a launcher. In Crystal he gets an awesome armour type buff move, and an interactable summoner which is pretty creative. And all aftershock gets is a air ground pound? Also aftershock has the worst costume. :) :) :) :)
Agree to disagree then. Aftershock's air ground pound might only be one tool but it has a multitude of uses. It's a zoning tool, allows Tremor to counter zone really well, gives him an air 50/50, and even allows him to dodge things while leaving your opponent comboable afterwards. It might look like a one trick pony, but Aftershock's one trick kicks ass.

Crystalline is still decent but you lose your armor to a lot more crouching pokes now that Tremor has no decent mid starter and the interactable has never been that useful. Metallic might be decent but I feel that the other two variations address weaknesses Tremor has while Metallic just adds luxuries.

IMO It's still the worse variation :)

I think this list is very good, although (same as many of people), I disagree on few placements. However, I think the job done by topic creator is amazing and has huge importance and value. Let me explain why:
1) These forums are lurked by NRS guys, that look for ways to improve (balance) the game. Tier lists help them to understand where is too strong and where is too weak.
2) Which means that if you disagree with some placements, please take care to elaborate. Together we can make this game better (and the topic starter encourages collaboration)
3) This tier list is organized by variations, which is how it should be done.
4) It helps newbies to understand "where is what". It also makes them think "why".

I disagree on Ninjutsu however, because:
1) Half-screen launcher is a damn amazing thing, which makes your enemy afraid to press buttons (which creates whole new area of possible actions)
2) f2 fuqs up the wake ups and also minds sometimes, because of 2 hits

TLDR
Thank you, ESG Jagged.
