i really just want to understand what the rationale was for buffing quan at all in this patch. He was in many peoples' top five already, or top 10 at the very least
You know, I was thinking the same thing for a while, except he would poke you backwards through a portal or something. He doesn't.
It might've been cool if he used the Green hands in Warlock to do a 6 frame d1, but for all variations? NRS pls.
You know what? I'm actually gonna do it right so there's no excuse.Damn you cant read huh
To this day that buff still baffles me more than anything else they've done. Everyone and their mother thought it was gonna get nerfed. This is the same company that buffed Martian Manhunter's overhead teleport. Who knows why they do half the shit they do.
You should have from the beginning)You know what? I'm actually gonna do it right so there's no excuse.
Didn't they nerf Harley's trait in that same patch? To this day that buff still baffles me more than anything else they've done. Everyone and their mother thought it was gonna get nerfed.
Or you should learn how to read. It was explained in the OP and my response to you. Now you have no excuse for remaining ignorant. You should have from the beginning)
Funny part is, you can actually get some seriously solid damage that's pretty easy to do with an NJP, standing 4, whatever combo back into the reset after the overhead. You know what? I'm actually gonna do it right so there's no excuse.
And the OP has been updated.
Lol yea I think so, shazams too.Didn't they nerf Harley's trait in that same patch?
Right, NJP does do great damage. I just did something quick for the sake of demonstration. If I really put some time into this I'm sure I could find some jacked up combos, but that just goes to show how scary this is from a bare bones standpoint.Funny part is, you can actually get some seriously solid damage that's pretty easy to do with an NJP, 4 whatever combo back into the reset after the overhead.
That Gap between the low bat then sword is fucking huge, this isn't that scary manYou know what? I'm actually gonna do it right so there's no excuse.
And the OP has been updated.
You mean the bat that you can send whenever you want? DMS was doing this just to show it can be converted to a trance hard to blockable setup. If done perfectly correct, you can do the overhead low at the damn near same time. That Gap between the low bat then sword is fucking huge, this isn't that scary man
Chill out! I was just pointing out that if you can't even show correctly the set up you were going to whine about why not just write about it without a video.Or you should learn how to read. It was explained in the OP and my response to you. Now you have no excuse for remaining ignorant.
You need to stop upplaying. As we have already heard, this is useless. Quan won't be viable until his Tele starts up in 8 frames and launches for full combo. It being 6000 start-up frames doesn't mean shit when he can throw a low bat 1F before or after the B2 hits. You can react to the overhead but you cannot react to the mix-up. Stop bein delusional people. Anyone who thinks Quan is not top 2 after this patch needs Jesus.
Sure he needed a good poke to handle pressure IN EXCHANGE of his near unblockable. But he has everything now.
Pointing it out is one thing, but the WAY you pointed it out wasn't exactly the right way to go about it. You knew what the hell he was trying to convey.Chill out! I was just pointing out that if you can't even show correctly the set up you were going to whine about why not just write about it without a video.
Nah man they glossed over it like it was no big deal.Did the Kombat Kast explain the reasoning for buffing Quan?
