Anyone ever drop a character but.......

XxSYNDROISxX

For the Shokan since Mk3
Then find your self enjoying that character even more then the first time you picked them up
Few months back I dropped Goro in favor of Kano and Tremor. I was playing a Koth last night. this guy was on a 34 win streak finally I said **** it and picked Goro (TF) and I won and I played Goro all night and I don't know something clicked and I am enjoying Goro so much more then ever. Share your stories if this ever happen with you. Ps I love Goro's flame pressure lol

MrProfDrPepper

NRS, Guilty Gear, and KI, the holy trinity
I dropped shirai ryu a while back and then decided fuck it lets pick lasher instead, and then it immediately clicked and I love the variation so much, it is criminally under rated and is so much fun to play

TamedLizard

Buff George
REPTILE.

He's always been my favorite character, but I just did not enjoy his play style when I first jumped in. Felt like I had to constantly spend meter to pull off anything worthwhile. But really it was a klassic case of "git gud".

Now, thankfully, he's my main and I'm loving every second of it.

DrFolmer

AKA Uncle Kano
I almost dropped Johnny Cage when I started playing MKX. I was a Johnny main in mk9 as well, so naturally I would go for Johnny this time around - but to my surprise, he wasn't like he used to be. I couldn't just mash f33b3/f33EXfb like I did in MK9, and his moves seemed so slow at the time. On paper he just looked like shit. Then I watched some high level A-list and I started believing again.

ZeZe

The smart stuff!
Never dropped the smurf... I mean, Ice ninja. Sometimes I even feel guilty trying out other characters out of curiosity. This bond is stronK!

supernumian

Triborg Enthusiast
I dropped Kung Lao, few months ago, when he become absolute Top Tier and I don't like play with OP char.
However, I admit that I really enjoy and have fun with his gameplay so, I started to play him again.
I love Buzzsaw.

AZ MotherBrain

If you believe enough, -7 could be +7
Sub zero and mileena for me in both MK9 and MKX. At first they both seemed kinda mehhh in MK9 and MKX, so i went to top tiers, Sonya for MK9 and D'Vorah for MKX. I'm still a D'vorah main, but playing Sub and Mileena just feels right to me.

Arkane Slim

I did a lot but I never hated...
I dropped Jacqui for online play for a few weeks and picked up Grandmaster Sub-Zero. I was waiting for Tanya to come out because she was going to be my second main.

In the mean time:

I then wanted to play War God Kotal Kahn.
I still practiced with Jacqui
I then wanted to learn Master of Souls Ermac.
I still practiced with Jacqui though
Tanya came out and all the Tier Whores and bandwagoners picked her up.. So I didn't want to play her anymore..
Focused more on practice with Jacqui
I then wanted to learn Flame Fist and Dualist Liu Kang
But I still practiced with her..

Finally when I saw I wanted to learn Reptile, Quan Chi and Kitana, I realized that I lost my ways. I even dropped MIX for a bit... But with these buffs, I can guarantee I will stick with Jacqui Briggs..and her 3 variations no matter what

I have a good feeling about this.

Hear hear.

I essentially dropped him for Quan Chi after his buffs, to test the waters, but it didn't take. As good as Quan is, I'm spoiled by Reptile's b2, f21, and b3. Ultimately I enjoy playing both; they play very differently and do different stuff.

Yeah I tried so hard to make Hi Tech work but sadly I think is, is the most useless variation in the game
