A five hour stream? Hyperbole much? I somehow doubt it. They do have other things to do, y'know and they know that a majority of their watchers do as well. I'd say it will be 90-120 minutes at most.

Them explaining what and why they are doing it is useless? Pls. Not to mention the patch won't be out til Tuesday anyway, so why not see what is gonna change.
So don't watch it, wait until the patch is out and read the changelog like you were going to anyway

If they were to do it today, yeah, I would watch it. But that's obviously not gonna happen. But I fully intend on watching the stream.

Sorry man, but I can't see any reason to worry about something that you don't like and call it stupid. NRS wants to talk about changes, explain their decisions about some fixes. This is better than: "Hey, fans! Get this patch and gtfo. Why we didn't buff Goro? Shut up and give us your money". If you think that it's better, well, ok. But I like that NRS is ready to share info.
honestly. id prob check here first.. see if anything was really worth watching ... if i didnt see big news here .. i prob wouldnt watch it and just read the patch notes myself..

i´ve never seen someone doing a stream for patch notes. I played a lot of dota, where patch notes are as long as a bachelor thesis.
But it's not like you're OBLIGED to watch the stream lol. It'll just be in archive and stuff for if anybody goes "wtf... why did they make this major change?" there will be developers directly stating their thought process. I play dota too. They seem to make major patches on purpose to shake up the meta and just see how things change. People stream for every fucking thing nowadays; there's no reason to be surprised.
