MK + Injustice Uber XBL Match Making Thread [WORLDWIDE]

I'm not Vak goddamnit
I tried to roll with online, and I just can't handle it anymore. Online randos are the worst. Between the people who have no idea how to combo without starting with a jip, to the people who will d3 six or seven times in a row, to the NJPers, I just can't do it anymore. Fundamentals and matchup knowledge mean nothing, it seems. I could go on and on about the netcode but I'm more annoyed by the habits it instills in the online players. I only get to play offline games with a few friends once a week, and my local scene is...well, it doesn't exist.

So all ranting and complaining out of the way, I'd like to play some games with some guys on TYM. I don't care if you're brand new to the game or an EVO winner, I just want some games where I'm not going to get trolled because I lost to netcode and with some air of respect. I'm far more concerned with getting better and putting tech to the test than I am winning. I play on XBone, and my GT is jewrodj. I main Cassie (all variations), but i also play Demo Sonya, Summoner Quan, Kobu Tanya, Ravenous Mileena, FA Jacqui, SD Johnny, and a few others at varying levels.

Thanks guys, I'm glad to have so many positive responses. I'll be adding you guys once I get home from work tonight. Tonight is also my one offline night of the week, but I'm usually free any time I'm not working.

Btw I am east coast if that conflicts with anyone (I've had weak connections with a few STB guys and I know they're west coast)

...to the people who will d3 six or seven times in a row...
Why are you letting people d3 you six or seven times in a row?

Block it. Then counterpoke it.

I kind of get tired of people who complain "oh my god, nothing but d3". If you're getting hit by repeated d3's that means you are not blocking repeated d3's.

I get so freaking tired of people complaining about getting d3'd, but the moment I go for an overhead, it gets freaking blocked. D3's are a way to teach the opponent "block, so I can throw you" or "block low, so I can hit you with an overhead".

This is what is called "conditioning". Sometimes in order to start offense against an opponent, you need to teach them to act a certain way. You can't condition someone to respect a throw if they aren't freaking respecting your d3's. You can't condition someone to be vulnerable to overheads if you aren't freaking respecting their d3's.

You're expecting your opponent to start offense without being able to condition you to respect that offense. That's absurd.

I'm not annoyed at the concept of an NJP, it's just...goddamn the online players do it a lot. Whenever I'm plus - NJP! Starting the match? NJP! NJP missed and can't be punished? NJP AGAIN!
If it works against you, they should do it until it ceases to work.

If it doesn't work against you, then you shouldn't be annoyed by it.
