[Aug 16, 2015] South Bend Slaughter (South Bend, IN)

We are happy to announce our first official fighting tournament! The tournament will consist of Mortal Kombat X, Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, and SNES Ultimate MK3 and possibly other small side tournaments.

WHEN: Sunday, August 16th. Venue will open at 1:00 PM and signs ups will begin.

COST: Venue fee will be free. The only cost will be $5 to enter any tournament. If you wish NOT to enter any tournament you can still come for friendlies at no cost.

PAYOUT: 1-6 players winner take all
7+ players will be split 60/30/10

SCHEDULE:
1:00 PM- Venue opens and sign ups begin
2:00 PM- Street Fighter 3rd Strike
3:00 PM- Mortal Kombat X
4:00 PM- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
5:00 PM- Ultra Street Fighter 4
7:00 PM- Venue will close

RULES:

ULTRA STREET FIGHTER IV

  • Game version: US XBox 360
  • Game Settings: Versus Mode, 99 Seconds, 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games, Edition Select=Off, No Handicap
  • If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select.
  • Winner may change ultra (only if opponent changes characters), but has to pick ultra first after loser picks character.
MORTAL KOMBAT X
  • Game version: PlayStation 4
  • Game Settings: Versus Mode, 2/3 Games, 99 Seconds
  • Predator and Tremor are not legal for tournament play.
  • Winner must keep same character and variation.
  • If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select.
STREET FIGHTER : THIRD STRIKE
  • Game version: US Xbox 360
  • Game Settings: Versus Mode, 99 Seconds, 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games, No Handicap
  • Winners Finals, Losers Finals & Grand Finals will play 3/5 Matches.
  • If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select.
  • Winner may change Super Art (only if opponent changes characters), but must pick Super Art first after loser picks character.
  • Gill is banned.

ULTIMATE MORTAL KOMBAT 3
  • Game version: US SNES
  • Default settings
  • 2/3 Rounds per Game
  • 2/3 Games per Set
  • 3/5 Games for Losers & Winners Finals
  • 3/5 Games for Grand Finals
  • Winner must keep character
  • Loser may switch
NEED TO KNOW:
Controllers will not be provided, so please bring your own. Modded or turbo controllers are not allowed.
