I agree that cancels without stamina should be negative but everything else should be left alone imo. DF doesn't have anything else going for him. DF does not have the strong zoning that FF has and FF doesn't have the pressure DF has. So before you say Liu still has other options, break him down by variations please. Plus 2 means nothing in this game when there's armor involved. If you're worried about b12, just block because that string alone has gap at the end of it.

And what gap in b12? The string itself has no gap, and the fbrc is plus on block.

Yeah, this is so godlike! Did you see EVO where the top 8 were all Dragon's Fire Liu Kang? I mean, since this is obviously broke, it was a tournament, and big money was on the line, plenty of people were trying to win with anything possible. It sure was the Liu Kang show that day!

Or, maybe because the real world applications of this are far less impressive than training dummy shenanigans.

well actually.. i do kinda agree with foxy but i think its match up wise... i actually have a harder time vs Kang doing this crap vs Tempest Laos crap . with tempest i can find places to armor or back dash .even njp if i make the right call.. with kang i really just have to eat this crap until a mistake or im close enough to MB an interactable .. yet at the same time its like meter for days for him.

speaking on offense.. Defensive is no question Tempest all day.

He's the best rushdown character in the game. But his defense is no where near as good as Lao and he doesn't have easy ranged footsie tools like B3(flying kicks MB to an extent).

Just going to leave this here. In case anyone wants to see just how much Grampa really struggles against the overpowered DF Liu Kang in a competitive environment.

edit- Spoiler alert, the only time he has trouble is when WhiteBl4ck plays smarter than him and gets him to use his stamina on closing, causing FoxyGrampa to drop all his run link combos.
