How do you guys feel about the Mileena vs Kitana Matchup I have a mileena friend that destroys my kitana but loses brutally to my ermac. Do you guys think ermac has a advantage over mileena do you think mileena has the advantage for kitana.

Mileena vs Kitana seems even. But that goddamn D1 of hers is annoying, lol. Best thing about this MU for Mileena, in my opinion, is the ability to counter zone so well. Telekick is a threat vs Fan spam and Roll tends to escape air mixups with float. Kitana has the edge in damage I think though.

No exp vs Ermac at all, I just know you can F3 punish his lifts on block, lol.

i love since the low sai changes that it can low profile her fans now

I feel Mileena/Kitana is pretty even but Ermac I'm not sure. They are both risky when going for offence but I would say Ermac deals more damage Mileena

I'm going to have to force F4 into my play. I never used it considering it has some big holes but as a Ravenous player, I can't just keep low poking all day.

Concerning F4, its unsafe by itself and has a gap that can be armored. The gap is removed with Roll. Is this stuff right?

I think it's slightly in Ermacs favor just do to the fact that his risk/reward is better than Mileenas. His being high risk and high reward. With Mileena not having that high of a reward compared to his.

Throw them full screen, and try to bait his teleport. If he tries to soul ball, you can block in time and he will take the hit.

He most likely wins 6-4 just because of the damage differential alone. He has a 50/50 you have a 50 50.

His is not meter dependent, yours is.

He has an 8F down poke, you have a 9f down poke. His jump ins are way better than ours and you Will NOT win an Air to air against him.

Another reason to buff Mileena backdash.... getting out of good crossover jumpkicks that lead to combos like Kitana/Scorpion.
To be fair, some of this could be due to online. But I've definitely been hit before by stuff trying to backdash offline.

Why not just roll. It low profiles launches and even if you can't anti air you go under them and it gives you space to breath.

Well I'm specifically referring to whiffing a D3, (since they jumped instead) and then Backdash or Reverse roll. In this case Roll loses to jumpkick so Backdash or block are the best options without meter.

Friendly reminder that run in U3 on a jump you can't punish with tele-kick and don't want to risk with roll is life.

So I found a weird bug with mileena. If you whiff a F1 you can special cancel it on whiff with an ex special but not with normal specials. I have no idea why it works but it looks kind of strange.

Edit: it does not work in piercing. Probably because she gets a new F1

She can actually cancel the Ex specials on whiff. Keep trying with piercing, I do it to trick people.

I think there is but not sure on exact inputs. Going to work on it once I come back from VSF. I do know remember @Nu-Skoool saying the window for a B4 option select is a little different to her other ones so not as easy to do initially

Hmmmm idk, Mileena might still defeat Kitana after the patch, but I could agree with it being 5-5 now.

Ermac definitely has a slight advantage because he wins in every aspect, he is a better Mileena lol. 6-4 IMO.

So lately I've been thinking about all the variations & what they offer vs EVERY character in the game & I've actually come to the conclusion that if a Mileena played only one variation that Piercing is her worst compared to the tools the other two variations offer vs the cast.

My rankings go as follows.

1. Ravenous
2. Ethereal
3. Piercing

Now this is my opinion & is subject to change at any point if patches or something new gets discovered that changes my mind on this. Tell me what you guys think & remember this is ONLY MY OPINION.
