Throw Immunity

I haven't seen any thread about this but i find this to be one of the dumbest mechanics in MKX ,if not the dumbest.

For example lets say ur Commando kano or Sungod kotal against kung lao and u do a safe string ,then go for ur armored command grab afterwards and kung lao does hes B321, You just wasted one bar and eat a 40% combo.

How is this justified?
