Seems nice and all but the payout is too low for me to consider. There are free to enter tournaments on xbox live that are giving out even more money. A $15 entry fee, with over 15 people entering, to only give out a total of $110 is something even I could do better.

What is going on guys, Ya Boi Zyphox here.
Not to be rude but it would be really hard for a very well known community member to hold an online tournament with the payout you proposed. like demise said your math makes this seem so sketchy, if 50 people registered for this online tournament let me guess you keep the profit? i'll give you some advice, either make it free entry with that payout and build your tournament from the ground up, or include all the registration money into the prize pot because honestly besides time there is literally nothing you would need to contribute on your own for an online tournament. not to mention you have 0 credibility since you just joined the site on friday.

I can change the payout no problem. I am new to this site but I've been hosting tournaments for all sorts of games for a while now. This tournament will be capped at 15 players. In order for me to have these events as often as people want them I also need to make profit to continue distributing for tournaments. Check out the website, the funds are going towards a new gaming LAN center I'm bringing to the DC/MD/VA metro area.

The tournament is capped at 15 players. I've changed the payout so I appreciate the advice. All the money that I don't distribute goes straight to funding for our LAN gaming center.

Why cap 15 players in a 16 man bracket?

Please put someone screenshot of the result SPEEDTEST. Preferably from Europe. I want to compare the quality of the connection.

thats really cool that your trying to build a scene from the ground up, but being 100% honest the online for this game is trash, i would be VERY surprised if you get 5 people willing to put up money with all things considered. you have to deal with ESL competition which pays out top 4 gives points for offline event and is free entry for $2k pots. having a cap that must be reached also hinders it quite a bit because you need 15 people. if i'm smart because of the way the internet works i'll be more reluctant into putting money into a prize pot to an online tournament i've never heard before to possibly not getting my money back if they don't reach 15 players that are also reluctant. not saying your not trust worthy or anything, its just kind of a stretch going about it this way. but i wish you the best of luck on that lan center.

I understand, I've been getting requests to have this type of tournament so I always try my best to please my supports the best way I can. I'm aware of the connection issues with the game but there are people who want this. I don't make no one pay in advance. After I personally get in contact with each player, I will have everyone pay at the same time (which will be their check-in). I'm new and things take time and also ESL have been doing tournaments longer than me, so I know I have to earn my trust. I also do free weekly tournaments as well. Thank you for letting me know the ropes!
