We wondered where you were. The issue seemed to be limited contact info. Besides PSN and TYM, @MsMiharo had no other way of contacting the no shows (your opponent didn't show either, so you got sent to losers based on a randomiser).

Maybe there is something we can do as a clan to prevent issues for other members in the future? Email addresses perhaps? Or WhatsApp?

You shouldn't be upset. That first match against Propz was tough. He's a solid player, and he picked a character that hasn't been out long enough for most people to know the match-up. As for your second match, I could hardly see a thing because the image became really pixilated.

When the matches go up on YouTube, we'll watch them and assess your play and try and spot what you could have done differently. It might have just been the lag. Either way, from what I saw I thought you did well.

I had no lagg at all imo.

First match : I don´t think that most people know the Reptile MU aswell, so there is no excuse for me to say it was the MU.
Also he hasn´t had that much time to practice tremor, he is just out for 4 days.

Second Match : I kinda overextended after crushing him in the first round. I felt way too comfortable.

He had some pretty damaging combos and corner pressure, which if you don't know the blocking patterns would be tough to guess against. Also, whilst some characters have been slept on, Reptile has been out since release, and there are people that main him. Propz plays a lot, so there is a good chance he's got more experiance than you anticipated.

I only mentioned the lag because Man0 and llabslb said in the chat they were experiencing delay.

i don´t know any european reptiles (maybe it´s just me and i don´t know people who play him )!

Lao might have given you more breathing space as his combo's hit harder, meaning you need to confirm fewer strings to win the round, but on the flip side he is a more popular character and more people are knowledgeable on him. I think you made the right choice going with Reptile under the circumstances.

I dropped her about a month ago simply because she's a little too execution heavy for me, but around that time the Cassie forums were starting to see her usefulness. You get an extra mix up with 33d1 or 33bf3, and air throw means you can combo off of kicks, giving you more reach. I might go back to her at some point now that I'm starting to understand option selects. Making db2 only come out on hit would be huge as it's so punishable when blocked.

Thanks. Last night showed me that success with Jason is dependent on good spacing, solid defence, tick throws and, most importantly, patience. I won't main him, but I think practicing with him will improve my overall footsies and defence.

I'm planning on picking up Kotal and F/T for the same reasons.

well i´ve been in party with grandflash and 1-2 other guys. At the beginning it was pretty cool, we played some casuals waiting for our matches. Then i was in practice mode with one guy, tried to help him with his main character. After my first match i just watched the stream and waited for my second one.

In between matches, do you feel it helps to be playing and keeping busy? Does it boost confidence?

I have a reason for asking these questions. I'm trying to develop a clan strategy for upcoming tournaments.
