Minor = medium or big tournaments (100+), medium prize money, good presence from several regions, some high level players.
Regional = small or medium tournaments (up to 100), small/medium prize money, competition mainly from the region.

So, I wonder if we could be able to elaborate that kind of list.I have 2 subjects for discussion:
1) Categories of Tournaments (edit: this is ok now, see bellow in yellow).
All of us know that not every tournament has the same weight and importance. Here, we usually separate EVO from the rest, and talk about Majors, Regionals and Locals. However, that classification seems lacking a bit. Not every major has the same size/importance (ex: CEO is obviously bigger than Toryuken). And some smaller majors are often called regionals and vice-versa.
So, I think there is a need to at least make one more category to separate big and little majors.
It could be something like:
A: Grand Slam: only EVO nowadays
B: Big Major: CEO and others alike
C: Little Major (Minor?)
D: Regional
E: Local
F: Special Event: sporadic tournaments as ESL Finals, or any other that are not guaranteed to happen periodically throughout the lifetime of the game.
So, the question is: It is a good categorization system? And, how do we call categories B and C? Big/Little majors? Majors/Minor? Other?
Shoryuken as its own categories to make their rankings, but I don't think that is adequate to MKX actually. That's why I think it would be nice to have a system that fits our specifics.
EDIT: This is now defined. Not more Big Major/Little Major, instead, Majors are kept the way it always have been, and the Minors category is for tournaments that are bigger than regionals but not majos yet.
Now it is: Grand Slam, Major, Minor, Regional, Local, Special Event
2) Tournaments
Once the categories are set, I would like the community's help to elaborate a comprehensive list of all tournaments around the world on each category (except Locals, which would be an endless list).
In other worlds: what would be the Big Majors, Little Majors, Regionals in NA, Europe, CIS, South America, Asia, Africa?
That would be very useful for us to know that, and capture the properly dimension of tournaments in several continents compared to each other. It can help us measure the size of the accomplishments in other continents compared to ours, and properly value players that are not from our realm for what they've done. For instance, watching how well @A F0xy Grampa, @PND_Ketchup, @Nivek , @Madzin , @PND_Mustard and other Europeans were at EVO, it makes me immediately value much more the EU tournaments and give more credit to them than I've used to.
Could use some help from you guys.
I'll try to tag some people here (just out of my mind right now), but any help will be much appreciated:
@CrimsonShadow, @STORMS, @Tim Static , @Pig Of The Hut , @HoneyBee @A F0xy Grampa , @PND_Ketchup , @PND_Mustard , @GGA Dizzy , @GGA 16 Bit , @YOMI Reno_Racks , @ShinBlanka , @Tom Brady , @Hollywood DMS , @Digit , @GGA pimpimjim , @UltraDavid , @TONY-T , @ETC Mcfly , @EGP Wonder_Chef , @Mikemetroid , @Kitana Prime , @CheapEddie , @EGP_Compton, and any other involved with TO's or from any scene not represented above.
