This makes absolutely no sense. This is a simple concept, and since you seem to have trouble understanding it I'll put it in terms of MK9:
Suppose someone says (in MK9) "REO or Carl is a better draw in tourney for 16 Bit -- it could have been Dizzy". Now, you'd lose your sauce with accusations that both REO and Carl have better MK9 tournament resumes. And if REO or Carl outplaced Dizzy (which happened a lot of the time), you'd say that was somehow proof that the statement was wrong.
The truth is, it's dead-on. Bit felt very comfortable matching up against REO and Carl and he'd tell you that himself, while Dizzy had his number and he never felt comfortable against him in tourney. That says nothing about which of the 3 is the better player, has the better resume, or would outplace the other. If REO would beat Dizzy at a tourney, it has absolutely no bearing on the point that REO was still a better draw for 16 Bit.
You wouldn't respond with "Well Carl beat Dizzy most recently at UFGT 2014 and has two MK EVO championships" because it has zero relevance to whether he's a better MU for Bit. It's also not a "blow up" of either REO or Carl.
If you can't understand this simple point, I'm just going to leave it here. I made a call about who it was more favorable for a specific player I know well to face -- and it was correct
