This EVO is making me salty about BS Shinnok. He's almost unarguably going to get nerfed now.

I'm okay with that, since I'm tired of seeing pocket shapers. But the problem is he was fine, even low/mid tier before the buffs. The buffs he got, no one really asked for. Maybe Dark Beam being actually useful, but no one asked for it to be +8. That buff is fine though, the "2in1 cancel" from the restand combo is what should be nerfed, imo. Before he got his overhead starter, the restand was kinda pointless because there was no mix-up after it, and you couldn't 2in1 cancel it, and it was neutral on hit. Now it's +8 because you can end with Dark Beam.

These are the things that should be addressed. His other strengths are needed. He doesn't even need to be +14 on MB Hellspark either, +5 would suffice imo. But that buff affected all variations, which the other variations need help.

nrs should simply not make anything plus a bazillion. maybe a +1 or +2 here and there, but everything else will just make the game dumb.

I guess I just don't see the logic behind what's going on with the stream schedule. So there are two concurrent melee streams running to capture winners and losers (which is fine btw, not complaining and I thought it was awesome when CEO did the same thing), another stream that says it's running tekken but it;s just an evo screen, another stream that says it's running smash for wii but it's also just an evo screen, and our now dead stream. If they aren't going to air another game why NOT keep airing MK is what I don't get.

tekken is already done thats why its empty. no clue why they just stopped mk though.

I mean no disrespect, but definitely some ppl paid 12$ to subscribe the channel, and others from a different time zone like myself, bothered to sleep a few ours earlier to keep awake for the rest of the evening and watch the whole MK event, now this happens.

EVO is a great tournament, i watch it mainly for 2 games, MK and SF, and SF was yesterday.

It used to have alittle more this is the first time that atlus usa is hyping the competitive side of it.

Oh well juggs hate me and I don't know why. bummer
