i swear every major, people on here think ~the illuminati~ has it in for NRS because scrub matches get streamed over good ones. NEWSFLASH: this happens in every game, even capcom. it's called being human and under time pressure. try talking to SF4 heads about all the nutty upsets that happened offstream yesterday...

Except MKX has a smaller fraction of good players to bad players than SF4 and also a higher amount of matches on stream are garbage ones. Now, obviously those two things are related but it seems like they're making 0 effort whatsoever as opposed to a little effort. Looking at the winners bracket right now, we saw I think ONE of the entire matches for people to qualify into winners 32.

No DLC, skins, or brutalities - really? That's not MKX. They're playing an incomplete version.

The brackets were completely random. That's just laziness. So, we had S Chris G playing an S player, S+ Pig playing an S Ducky, S++ DJT playing S Coach Steve, right after two B level scrubs traded missed combos for three games. Plus, button checks on screen while other matches go on. Seriously, who was in charge of setting things up? Is MKX not a priority at EVO. It seems like it is getting 2nd class citizen treatment.

What about the players that play DLC characters? What about the fans watching getting an incomplete experience? Seriously, I'm angry and I'm not even there. It seems to me that this is an epic miscue.

Pig, ducky and coach steve have NOT placed top 8 in mkx so far so they got treated like any other player that hasn't placed top 8 in a game. Rules are rules.

But im glad pig made it out

Is the stream on break or something? Just now able to watch and all I see is the EVO logo.

If you guys want marquee mathces on stream you have to get the players to voice this, the GGXRD, P4, & KI players at EVO are doing this to get good matches on stream. For some reason MK players have always been bad about this.

The following posts already came to the conclusion that the amount of seeds was bad.
And results didn't guarantee seeds. Opinions did.

It's just a matter of learning and next year decide how much seeds we can distribute on a pre evo season and in a manner that at least 32 players are seeded through placings in other tournaments. if not more

And the stream game is evo's fault for not having the dlc content unlocked.

And the fact that the matches on stream are not being picked smartly as I don't think we saw a single winners finals in pools

Yea i agree that the seeding is bad but only if its towards top 8 placers and or players from the same scene. All im saying. Going back to the fact that pig, steve and ducky haven't placed in mkx yet.

These guys can compete with anyone and have enjoyed success, so you let them feast on the newcomers.

Instead, they put them up against one another - and let newcomers battle with other newcomers. So, you have these epic matches that almost no one sees - and you have the newcomers flailing at one another for 3 games.

Its just not good for the tournament. Just use common sense when seeding. These guys are known for a reason.

He's not taking that away from them as being great players but this is a new game where it ALL starts over and so far those players (pig, ducky, and steve) have not placed a top 8 to get special seedings.
