Question - Hunter Predator Hunter Heal

I'm just picking Hunter now, and it seems that after a successful trap mine you can always self heal before a NJP. You even have time to heal, dash to close distance and NJP to continue your combo.

So, for a NJP follow-up to a trap mine, I really don't see any reason not to use heal to get 5% back everytime.
Are there any cons?

Also, if you follow-up wth a disk after a trap mine, are there setups that allow you to self heal still?

Could you post self heal applications here so we can have it clear how to use it mid combos or in any other safe situation?

Yes you can heal after a successfull Mine but i would advise you to atleast try to check the designated Variation Thread here: http://testyourmight.com/threads/predator-hunter-discussion-thread.54080/

Me and a couple other very good Posters already did all the homework for you, including praticle combos and situations. so plz check there, and if you have any questions refer them there as well, ;) hope that helps

Thanks man. In fact I did read 4 or 5 pages there and didn't find anything on the subject, so I thought it would be useful to have a separate thread for this specific move so people could access info directly without having to read a general thread with several other topics not related to this. At least for me it was very time consuming looking for this and trying to filter the desired information.

But, sure, if you guys from this forum think it's not useful and prefer to have all this in the general topic, I'll follow.

Is there any way you can look for specific Heal uses within that thread? I guess "search", but if there is another way to have it easily available it would be nice. I like to concentrate in one issue at time, and now I really am interested on knowing everything about Heal and any new discovery that happens.

Sure i understand, hmm that i can help with, atleast from what discoveries i made. Best thing you can do is look up a couple of the vids that are up there, most of us left notations on the specific combos so you can just save those and be ok, even without the vids, ofc there are plenty other sources in the thread i mentioned, unfortunately those you would have the skim thru yourself as a lot of us Hunter users did a lot of the research by helping each other so that thread would still be the best source for material...

As per stuff i do not reference there, that might be of relevance in a real match, you can get a free heal after any jump attack into Disc. I use it quite often if i feel the need for more health outweighs the need for damage just keep in mind it consumes all your stamine... Also like you mentioned anytime you land a trap you can heal, its free so unless you are looking for a very high damage combo like the ones in my Channel , always heal if the trap connects.

I play on PC so the notations on the first video confuse me. Can u confirm I[m approaching this correctly?

Starter: (b3,1,1 / f4 / 3,2)
MB BF 4,
ji 3, mb bf 2
land 3, ??? I'm confused after this part.

hmmm i Dunno the notations for pc or how they translate but let me try to simplify the combo for you

standing SK cancel into EX scimitar, Jump foward K, EX Discs, land, Throw a Close Trap, another Standing SK cancel into Heal (Down Down K), Throw Disc, do Down SP, then K,SP,Grab (32,1+3 as we call it)

SK - Strong Kick
EX - Meter Burn version
K - Kick
SP - Strong Punch
