This is so we can figure out how many people will be attending and help us build brackets easier. As well as start on time. I recommend it for people who are entering Ultra and Smash 4 so you aren't in a rush to get to the venue. We would at least have your name.
$10 Per Game. All money used to enter the individual tournament will be placed into a prize pot.
Example: 50 participants enter Ultra, $500 will be in the prize pot for First place.
All money will go to first place.
When the vendor Hall closes (Where we will be mainly located). We will move to another room to finish the Semi-Finals and Grand Finals.
FIGHTFEST is a Killer Instinct World Cup Qualifier. We shall be streaming Killer Instinct during the duration of FIGHTFEST.

Tournaments will have standard rules:
Round: A unit measured within a Game. Once a player wins X number of rounds, he wins a Game.
Game: When the game declares a player the winner. In tournaments, players must win X number of games to win the Set.
Set: number of Games that must be won to advance to the next round.
In all games, the winner of the previous game must keep his character(s). The loser may switch. In games where a player selects multiple characters, the winner must select his team in the same order and with the same assists as before, but if the game allows him to change his play order after character select, doing so is allowed.
All participants are responsible for knowing which tournament pools they are playing in. i.e. Pools for UMVC3 start at 12:00 PM and Ultra at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 8.
We will not give preferential pool placement to any player for any reason. Participants must check in at their pools within the 10 minutes before the pool is scheduled to start. If, for example, you are in a 11:00 AM pool, you can check into your pool at 10:50 AM, and you must be checked in BY 11:00 AM, or you are already disqualified from your bracket. We will not wait for you, we will not call your name if you have not checked in. Your time will be carefully scheduled. We will be on time, and we expect you to be too.
A set number of participants will advance out of each tournament pool. If you qualify from a pool, it is your responsibility to know when your quarter or semi-final pool begins, so be sure to ask your judge.
If you are disqualified from any game, you are not entitled to a refund of any kind. Be on time and in the right place.
Please be respectful.
If a match is paused during play, press nothing and get your pool judge. The player whose controller is responsible for the pause will take a loss for the match or round. If you have a controller malfunction, stop playing and contact a judge. If the controller is actually malfunctioning, you will be allowed a re-start. If it is not, you will take a loss for the match.
In any game, purposely triggering a bug or glitch that stops the game from being played will award the player who triggered it a loss. If this happens, it will be at the judge’s discretion how to handle the situation, so call a judge over to your game right away.
All controllers are subject to approval and must be inspected for the tournament. Bags are subject to inspection before entering or exiting the game room.
If you do not want to have your bag/equipment inspected or if you are not willing to comply with these policies.
FANDOMFEST reserves the right to change or modify any policy or rule at any time and without notice.

-You may not use any glitch that prevents the game from being played. This includes game freezing, game resetting, player freezing, dead body infinites, etc.

Available Stages:: Battlefield, Final Destination, Smashville, Lylat Cruise, Town & City, Castle Siege, Delfino Plaza, Duck Hunt, Halberd
All Omega stages are banned.

First stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1(1)-P2(2)-P1(2)-P2(2)-P1(1) order.
Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.

You may not play on a stage that is not on the available stages list. This will result in a double disqualification.
Maximum allowed time between games is 60 seconds. Any player violating this rule will be issued a loss.
There will be no loading anything on to the consoles from a Nintendo portable gaming system.
